Chapter 18

Rose POV

Once they take me out of the courtroom, they let me roam free. I'm waiting for my dad to come. I'm surprised they even let me walk around with no handcuffs on. I decide to go on a run.

Then I'm pulled into Lissa's head. This hasn't happened in years.

I see Dimitri and Lissa.

"You shouldn't do this to her. She is your friend."

Wow, Dimitri is actually standing up for me.

"She is not my friend. But after this everything will be back to normal!"

She sounds like a crazy happy person.

"You don't need to do it this way!"

"Why not? You can win her heart again!"

"I think she has someone else. She asked to see a person named Tim. I wanted her to see the people that she loved, before you did this to her!"

"I didn't give you permission to do that!"

"Stop giving us orders!"

Lissa walks up to Dimitri and grabs his hands. What is she doing?

"I'm sorry. Could you ever forgive me?" She pulls him to her. That whore! She give him a kiss on the lips, then pulls back and looks into his eyes. I thought she was with Christian!

She using compulsion on him. I look at my surroundings. Her surroundings. There in Dimitri's room. Why are they in his room? I see he has pictures, one of them catches my eye.

It's me.

He has a picture of me on his table. Did he really still like me after all I've done to him?

"Of course, my queen."   That evil bitch.

"Go to Rose and make her happy. I want her to be in a good mood when her time comes to an end. Understood?"

"Yes, my majesty."

Then he leaves the room. Lissa starts to walk around the room.

"That was easy. Men and their needs!"  She's talking to herself. Is she with Dimitri? That can't be happening, she's in a relationship with Christian! They were planning on getting married. What the hell is wrong with Lissa?

Then I'm pulled out of her head. What the hell was that? I realize that it's getting dark and I know I should return. My dad should be here in the morning. I need rest for what lays ahead. I start to head back, but something stops me. I want to escape but they have the whole place surrounded. If I could get on my dad's plane, I could escape.

Then I remember something. Galina said she was planning something. I miss Sasha. I wish he was here. I start to cry, my life is turning out to be quite terrible.

"Don't cry, my love."

I jump back. I would remember that voice from anywhere.

"Sasha!"

Finally something good happens to me!
