Chapter 30

Rose POV

I follow him outside and find him on the back porch. He turns around once I'm near him. He looks completely broken down.

"I thought you loved me! I actually thought you cared for me! I thought we were a couple."

"Please calm down. Let's sit down and talk about this. Let's talk about everything."

I feel so bad. I was caught in the moment. I was stupid. He slams the chairs to the ground.

"There's nothing to talk about! Were over, there's nothing you can do or say to change my mind!"

I try to grab his hand but he instantly pulls back.

"I'm sorry! Is that what you want to hear. Do you have any idea how much pressure Is on me? I'm suppose to find a man to be with for eternity! I'm suppose to be your ultimate weapon. I'm only alive because you guys need me to find Lissa!"

He only looks even more furious, we both are fuming with rage.

"Rose I loved you! I wanted to be with you for eternity. I wanted to be your man. But how could I trust someone, who goes and gets any man they look at?"

"Are you implying that I'm a whore?"

"You sure could do the job."

I punch him right in the face and I push him to the ground.

"You jackass! Your just a mommy's boy and your a little bitch!"

I bend down and pull his head up by the hair. I give him an evil grin.

"You really are a little bitch, with I tiny package."

I look down at his package and laugh. He looks super pissed. After all of the year's of dating, I found out that men down like having girls joke about their size.

As I head back to the house, I see Galina right at the door. She's laughing.

"Good job darling! Trust me, I'm not mad that you didn't choose my son."

"I'm surprised that your not mad at me."

"It's fine dear. You can head to your room, you can eat dinner in a little while."

"Thanks, Galina"

I head to my room feeling no regrets. I feel like Sasha has major mood swings. I know I made a mistake, but we could've at least talked.

"Excuse me Rose."

I turn to see a guard walking up toward me.

"Yes. Is there something wrong?"

"You've been requested to go to the courtroom. I've been sent to escort you to there."

"Ok."

What do they want now? He open the courtroom doors and I walk in. I look and see that it's almost empty. Except with only a few guards at the corners of the room. Then two people enter from a different door.

Christian and Alex.

"Hello, hothead."

"Hello, Rose. Thanks for getting me freed."

"Anything for a friend. How was prison life treating you?"

I say with a smirk on my face.

"It's not as comfortable as I thought it would be."

He say sarcastically and we both laugh. We give eachother a hug. It's nice to have him on my side.

"So Rose, what's the plan? I've been told that your the leader. What's happening?"

"First of all, we're going to need to use you magic. Second, we need to get everyone into shape. Thirdly, I'll read Lissa's head, find out we're she'll be, and then we'll go after them. Is that enough for you?"

"That's just enough. How are you?"

"I'm ok. I just broke up with my boyfriend."

Alex looks up, right at me immediately. Christian smirks.

"Rose I hate to break it to you, but you don't have the best of luck with boys."

We both laugh.

"I think you might be right!"

I punch him in the shoulder.

"So what can we do around here Rose? Can we go eat dinner?"

"Of course hothead. Let's go!"

Before we leave the room, I turn back to see Alex.

"Would you like to join us?"

"No I'm fine, I'll see you later Rose."

Then I return back to Christian. I see him smirking.

"What?"

"I think you have some things to explain to me."

"Let's go eat dinner. I'll explain everything to you."

I lock my arm around his arm as we head to the dining room.

I forgot how nice it feels to have a friend again.
