So, Christmas is in a few days. Dad took me to Diagon alley to go Christmas shopping. My dad left me at Sugarplum's sweet shop while he went to another store to get something for mom. Over the months, I have been able to save up enough for a few sweets. I got some sweets for mum and dad. I hope they'll like them.

I got an owl from James yesterday. He said that he was planning to get a "prank gift" for Sirius. He rigged it up and everything! Again, James might be a troublemaker, but he's a smart one. He needed my help for a certain part though. I fished out some old books and wrote down my reply.

The funny thing is, today, I received an owl from Sirius. He was planning to give a "prank gift" to James too. He got it from Zonko's and he needed my advice on how to wrap it. That was tricky since the gift would be kind of hard to conceal.

See, James wanted to give Sirius a fake book, and when he opened it, paint, glitter, and glue would shoot out. Sirius wanted to give James a normal present, wrapped in a box. When James opened it, the box would yell a lot of weird, funny, and crazy stuff at him. Kind of like a howler. Sirius bought it in a jar at Zonko's. I wonder what it looked like. What does sound trapped in a glass jar look like? How do you transfer the sound to a box? I'll have to think about that for a while. I guess, I'll owl Sirius when I figure it out. It's funny how they don't know that they're pranking each other.

The only problem is that I have no idea what to get any of them! I spent all my money on mum and dad's sweets, and I doubt my friends would like any sweets for a Christmas present (okay, maybe Peter would, but he'd want a lot of them.). I can't give them a homemade card! That's absurd! James loves chocolate frogs though...maybe if I get some Christmas money I could get that. And Sirius likes prank stuff... and Peter loves pumpkin pastries. Yes, I'll give them those. I hope they'll actually like them.
