I'm back at Hogwarts now, sitting here in my familiar bed while the marauders are snoring around me.

After the most boring days of my life, mum and dad brought me to platform 9 3/4. Mum cried, dad told me to keep out of trouble....the usual. I was early again, and I got into the same compartment as before. I sat down and pulled out a book. I wasn't feeling particularly well since full moon is tomorrow. I felt dizzy and queasy.....

So, I picked up a nice book (the one dad gave me) and started reading. My pleasant bubble of peace was popped by a sudden burst of laughter. Two people entered the compartment. One was hitting the other with a Gryffindor towel.

"Remus!" Yelled James. "Help me! Black has gone crazy over the holida-ack!"I returned to my reading as James tried to wrestle Sirius to the floor. When they finally stopped, James messed up his hair. "Thanks for the help, Lupin."

"Don't mention it, James. Besides, what were you two doing?"

"Well Remus, I was simply restraining our friend, James here, from making a fool of himself in front of Evans."

James scowled at Sirius.

I shut my book. "Sirius, don't you think you made a fool of him even more by dragging him away and hitting him with a towel?"

Sirius smirked. "I wasn't thinking...sorry James."

My friends are crazy. While James went on and on about his new broomstick and how unfair it was that he couldn't bring it, I returned to my book. Sirius was looking out the window, searching the crowds of people. The train would be leaving in a few minutes. Then, Sirius took a closer look at me.

"Gosh, Remus, you look awful!"

I glared at him. Yeah, thanks for the compliment....

"You look like you're sick or something. Your eyes....when was the last time you slept?"

I decided to ignore this comment and continued reading my book. Thankfully, before they asked any more questions, Peter burst into the compartment. The train lurched forward, and we were moving. Peter was apologizing for being late, and he kept telling us how his mom practically choked him while hugging him goodbye.

At least they didn't push the question of why I looked sick any further. It's just, I've been feeling so tired lately, and with the full moon and all.....

The food trolley stopped by, and my friends bought so many sweets. It's a surprise they didn't use up all their Christmas money! I didn't, of course. I just kept reading my book. James tossed a few chocolate frogs my way though.

Anyway, classes resumed, and I am tired. How cruel can professors be, giving homework on the first day back? I passed my homework that was assigned over the holidays. Apparently, neither James nor Sirius did theirs. Peter tried...although it was a pitiful attempt. I need my rest now... Tomorrow evening, I will go to Madam Pomfrey and.....well.....you know. Goodnight.
