Hi dad. I know it's been a few days but I think I've found something out.

I wrote uncle Harry about the 'fight' (or lack of one) with the five fifth years. I asked him what he thought could've happened.

Uncle Harry is a very straight-forward guy.

He thinks that the shield thing was me. He said that wandless magic was possible, even at Hogwarts, and that I was probably using it at that moment.

Wandless magic. Could you do it? Could mum?

I'm not sure, but I'll read up on it. I still think the invisibility cloak theory is more possible than this one. I'm useless at magic, even though people say it should come naturally to me, i'm awful at it. I'm a half metamorphagus, half lycanthrope, and i'm FAILING transfiguration...

I'm not gonna sleep much, I know that, but I might as well read up on some transfiguration books I borrowed form the library. I'm pretty sure I won't retain much of the information I read, judging by my past encounters with books, but I'll need all the help I can get tomorrow. Professor McGonagall is holding a practical test of sorts. Wish me luck.
