Uncle Tom came to visit today! Aunt Kath couldn't come, but she sent a letter, and another book. She wrote that this book would entertain me while I'm still not able to walk around.
My leg is a lot better, although, I still feel weak. The book Aunt Kath sent is called "A study in Scarlet" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. She says that it's a mystery story, and that she is glad that I appreciate muggle literature.
Well, so far, it's a great story, although, it is kind of hard to read. The words are deep, and it's really old fashioned. Not a kid in sight!
Speaking of books, I've finished, and mastered the techniques in that book Great Aunt Kath gave me (Paper Magic). I can make drawings move (although, I'm not good at drawing), I can make words appear and disappear, and I can make paper airplanes and birds fly! Dad taught me a cool trick. He drew a map of the room we were in, and he made us appear in it. We were little black dots. When dad moved from one side of the room to another, his dot would move too. It's a neat trick, although, the dots have no names on them. I can't tell if it's dad, mum, me, or Uncle Tom moving around.
The spell wore off, and now, it's just a map without any moving dots. I wonder if I could make a map of the forests around our house. When my leg is healed, I won't have much to do. Maybe making a map of the forests could help me pass the time. I'll need dad's help to draw it though! Bye for now!
