Last night was....well....

I walked along a few corridors and...I got lost.

I came upon different rooms and different parts of the castle...all doors looked practically identical! I went in one door because it was slightly ajar. I found something....a mirror.

It was tall and grand. It had something inscribed on the bottom of its frame. "Erised II"

I looked in it and saw....I saw you. You, and mom. Mom with bright pink hair, smiling. You, not tired, or hurt. You, laughing beside her, ruffling my hair. And me....Me, with bright blue hair....smiling. I looked different (My hair still has some pink dye in it by the way). We were together...we were happy.

Erised is "Desire" backwards. The room was dimly lit, the frame was dusty, but the glass was polished and clean. I could feel the magic around it...I can always feel that kind of stuff. It's in the air, fizzling a bit.

Desire. Something I want....anything I want? I don't know. I'm going back there tonight. I know it'll never happen dad. You're gone. Mom's gone. I...I will never be like that version of me in the mirror. I just...I just want to see it again. I want to see you. To be with you both. You didn't look disappointed (I know you really are though...). You were proud.

I'm going there again.
