Day 21

So, the full moon   lunar time, is drawing near. It’s tomorrow. I feel really bad now. Not just because that “time” is really soon, but because I’m afraid that my friends will find out. I mean, we’ve known each other for almost a month. I’m pretty sure they won’t notice—yet. I’ve come up with an excuse. I’m going to tell them that mum is sick, and that I’ll miss class for a day. Yes, that sounds right.

I don’t know if I should be close to them. They really are great friends, but if my….secret came out, then what would happen? Sometimes, I ask why I was even put in Gryffindor. I know I’m not brave. Heck, I’m scared! This is the first time I’ll… you know, without my parents.

Gosh, Remus, you’re acting like a baby. Stop wallowing in self-pity. It’s nothing. The only thing that’ll be different is the place. Dumbledore found a good one too. Nobody will know.

I’m feeling really tired now. I’m going to get some rest.
