I'm so totally, utterly BORED! Not that I haven't felt like this before....it's just, I'm not used to having no one to talk to or nothing to do anymore. Before, we moved to this house to avoid suspicion. Unfortunately, we have no neighbors, and there's not much to do outside anyway. I've done all my homework and I've helped dad with all the chores. He's reading the newspaper now, and mum is working in the garden. What am I supposed to do? Tomorrow, I'll meet up with the marauders at Diagon alley, but that seems like such a long time to wait!  Speaking of the marauders, I've never really written that much about them, have I?

Well, let's start with James. James Potter, he comes from a good, and how do I put it, wealthy family. He is in love with chocolate frogs, quidditch, and Lily Evans. Lily is a really nice girl in Gryffindor. I see her in the library sometimes when I go there to study. So far, she hates all the marauders because of their pranking of the Slytherins, and because of James many failed attempts to show off to Lily. She tolerates me though, which James resents. He threatened me so many times NOT to "like" her. Of course I don't "like" her, but I do like her as a friend. She's really talented in potions, and she is really smart. Back to James. He has messy, untamable, black, hair. It's always a mess, and I've never seen it combed down neatly-ever. He is a good, loyal friend though. He likes to hex people along with Sirius, I join in sometimes, but it's hard. Not hard to hex—hard to see other people get hurt for existing (Severus Snape). Not that I actually feel sorry for the greasy-haired git, but it is kind of sad.

Sirius, Sirius Orion Black, he is a real Gryffindor. He stands up for himself, and always has a quick comeback. He, along with James love to hex, prank, and trick people. He always manages to get in trouble (just like James), he never does his homework, and he hates his family. The Black family is a pureblood family that has a major prejudice against muggles and muggleborns. They call all muggleborns in Hogwarts the M-word. It's awful! Sirius is the only good one among them, no matter how much trouble he gets into. He tells us a lot of stories about his family. Stuff like how his mum favors his younger brother (Regulus), and how his cousins are deranged in a way, and how people who rebel and marry muggleborns in the family are burned off the family tree (they will not be in the family anymore). It's all stupid! Thank goodness Sirius has different views from the rest of them, or he would NEVER be friends with any of us. Sirius is a brave person. He stood up to his family, he got sorted into Gryffindor, and he never looks down on muggleborns.

Peter, Peter Pettigrew, he's a bit weird. He is okay at charms, but he flounders along in the rest of his subjects. He loves to eat....really, he LOVES to eat. He knows how to give good advice, and he is a good partner if you need someone to rely on. He follows James and Sirius around wherever they go. He's easy-going, and not that hard to befriend, although he really is odd. Not as odd as Xeno Lovegood, just.....weird. He is a nice friend, though. He would never betray, or hurt any of us.

Then, there's me, the fourth marauder, the one who goes to the library, the liar. The one who can't bear to distance himself from his friends even if he knows he must. The coward. I am not a Gryffindor. How could I not tell them? Then again, how could I tell them? If anyone found out.... If anyone even guessed....I'd be kicked out of Hogwarts for sure! Dumbledore trusts me, but nobody else does....nobody else knows. Only some teachers and madam Pomfrey. Should I tell them? What would they say? They'd probably be furious, hex me into oblivion, or....or...or worse, tell everyone else, and stay away from me. NO. I cannot let anyone know. NEVER
