Chapter 87 - Attached

*Jimmy's POV*

"Mr. Palmer... I have to leave early. Would you be alright closing up on your own?" Ducky asks, grabbing his coat.

"Of course, Doctor." I reply. Hearing my response he lifts his hat over his head as to say goodbye before walking out the door. As I go back to work I hear the door slide open again. "Forget something, Doctor?" I laugh without looking up.

"I'm a doctor now? Jimmy... I don't think you know me that well." A woman's voice responds.

"Michelle. What the hell are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see you." She says, moving closer to me with every word. She leans in to kiss me but I move around the table. "Don't you want to see me?"

"Well... I wasn't expecting you, to be honest..." I say, now across the table from her.

"Come on. Will you at least listen to me."

"Fine." I say as she walks around the table to be next to me.

"I never should have used you. I love you." With that she pulls me into a kiss. I try to get out of it but she pushes me up against the wall. Slowly she reaches down to start unbuttoning my shirt. Since she had let go of my neck I was able to push her off of me.

"That's it. Get out."

"Jimmy?"

"Michelle. I'm married. I have four beautiful children. Get the hell out of my workplace." I demand.

"I'm sorry, Jimmy... I had no idea."

"Yes. For one reason. You broke my heart and I wanted to have nothing to do with you for the rest of my life."

"I didn't mean to hurt you. I didn't think you would get as attached as you did."

"I had sex with you. You thought I wouldn't get attached? You were the first person I ever slept with... Call me insane, but that kind of gets people attached..."

"I said I'm sorry." She says as she leaves the room.
