"Awe!" Abby smiles as she sees Palmer and I getting along.
"Shut up!" I say jokingly.
"We are going to give you two a little privacy... We'll go do some work." McGee says grabbing Abby's arm. He pulls her to the other half of the room and the door slides shut. I watch as Abby gives McGee a big kiss.
Palmer notices me watching them kiss and puts his hand on mine. I look at him and see his eyes shine. I smile, he smiles back. He leans into me until our lips meet. He kisses me and I kiss back, this time I don't fight it. We pull apart after a few minutes. I look over to see Abby and McGee watching through the door. When they notice me the pretend to be doing work, which I know they're not.
Palmer and I walk through the door and it slides shut. Abby runs up to me and gives me a big hug. "I knew it would work!" Abby says.
"McGee! Ashton! What the hell are you doing down here?!" Gibbs yells as he walks through the door.
"Just... Uh... Talking, boss." McGee lies.
"Uh huh. Well let's go! We have to work on this case!" Gibbs says as he turns around. McGee and I follow after. We both turn around and wave. "Stop flirting you two."
"It's like he has eyes in the back of his head!" I whisper to McGee.
"That's because I do, Ashton." Hearing this made me stop. I stood there for a few minutes. "You coming Agent Hughe?"
"Yeah. Sorry."
"Rule six."
"Rule six?"
"Never apologize. It's a sign of weakness."
