Still not knowing what to say I turn around. "I think I'm just going to walk home... It's not to far." I say. Palmer just nods. I start to walk away as I glance over my shoulder. I see Palmer sitting on a bench, his head in his hands.

I fell bad for leaving him sitting there, but then again it would be to awkward staying with him. I walk for thirty minutes then finally reach my house. I sit on my couch and pull my legs up close to my chest.

I can't help thinking about the kiss. It was nice. I had never felt such... Such... Connection with another person. Oh great. Now not only does he like me but I'm starting to like him.

I turn on my TV and try and block out all thoughts of the nights activities. I can't. I just can't. Finally I go to sleep, but dream about the kiss. I couldn't get it out of my head.

I wake up and get ready for work. I really don't want to go in today, but I have to. I change my clothes, brush my hair and teeth and leave for the day.

When I get to the office I sit in the chair across from Ziva like I did the previous day. I put my face in my hands so no one can see my pain. "Ashton...?" I hear McGee's voice ask, "Is everything alright?" I break down when I hear those words. He runs over and kneels down in front of me. "What happened?"

"I don't know what to do, McGee. I just don't ok?" I say trying to stop the flow of tears.

"You don't know what to do about what?" he asks as he wipes a tear from my cheek.

"Yesterday, Palmer and I went out to dinner and to the park, he said it was just as friends, but McGee... He kissed me! What do I do?" I lean forward and hug him.

"Oh, Ashton." he hugs me tight.

"McGee. I don't know what to do. How to talk to him about it. I need help."

"I don't know if I'd be the best at that... But you know who would? Our forensic scientist, Abby... I wonder if she's here now." he stands up and puts out his hand, "Come on. Let's go see."
