The honeymoon was amazing! But all good things come to an end eventually... Sadly the honeymoon had to be one of those things.
"Welcome home, love birds!" Tony says as we walk into the bull pen.
"How was your trip?" Ziva asks.
"Amazing." we say in unison.
"Did you have fun?" McGee asks with a questionable look on his face.
"Oh my..." Palmer smirks.
"McGee!" I say as I nudge his arm.
"Well, I mean... That's kind of what happens on honeymoons... That's what they're for..." We all laugh. The elevator doors open and Gibbs steps out.
"Welcome back. Now, we have a case. Grab your gear." Gibbs walks past us and to his desk. I smile, glad to be back on the job.
"See you in a little bit." Palmer says, kissing my forehead, and then heading towards the elevator.
"He is a very sweet man, Ashton." Ziva smiles.
"I'm very lucky." I smile as I grab out my gun, badge, and I.D. Gibbs just chuckles and heads out to the car. We hurry to meet him down there.
"So what did you guys do while in Paris?" Gibbs asks, to break the usual silence of our car rides.
"Umm..." I say, I look around at everyone and blush, "We saw the Eiffel Tower and a few other famous French sights..."
"Something tells me they saw a whole lot of their hotel room bed." Tony jokes. I feel my face turning a brighter shade of red.
"Yes... We did..."
"That's enough information... So how about the weather we're having?" Gibbs laughs, trying to change the subject to avoid farther embarrassment to me.
