"Gibbs!" I say as I see him walking in the door of the house.
"Yeah?" Gibbs asks, turning to face me.
"I found another body."
"You did? Where?" He looks at me with intensity. I walk into the house, Gibbs, Ducky, and Jimmy following close behind. I walk into the living room and point at the shoe sticking out from under the couch. Gibbs kneels down and looks. He sits up, and looks very confused. "Ashton... It's just a shoe." He lifts the shoe and shows us.
"But... I swear... I saw..." I feel my face get hot. I kneel down beside him and look. Sure enough, there is no body. "McGee saw it, too!"
"Ashton. Do you need to go sit down outside?" Ducky asks.
"Yeah... I guess I could use some fresh air." I walk towards the door. I sit on the ground and lean my back against the car.
"Ash?" I hear footsteps from the other side of the car. Jimmy approaches and slides down the side of the car to sit next to me. "You ok?"
"I promise you I saw a lady's body there. I promise." A tear rolls down my face.
"Ashton, I want to believe you, but there wasn't a body there. None of us saw it. Are you sure you weren't imagining it?" He wipes the tear off of my face.
"I'm positive I wasn't imagining it! McGee saw her, too!" I pout.
"Alright... Well, I have to get back to work. Collect yourself, ok?"
"Fine." I slump up against the chair.
"Ashton?" I hear Ziva's voice call.
"I'm over hear, Ziva." I answer.
"I heard what happened. Do not worry. McGee is fustered, too." I giggle, "What?"
"It's flustered, Zi."
"You would have thought, being in America for nine years, I would be better with the terms... Anyhow, I just thought you might be able to describe who, exactly you saw..."
