My face turns red with anger. I see Tony and Ziva look over to me to see my reaction. I simply take in a deep breath and turn around. 'This isn't happening.' I tell myself, even though I know it's not true.
"Uhh... Hello." Palmer blushes.
"Don't look now... But she's making your boyfriend blush." McGee whispers in my ear. I elbowed him in the gut. "Owh."
"McGee. I'm so sorry." I apologize.
"Ashton! What happened?" Palmer asks, running over.
"Nothing... I went to turn around and when I did... I accidentally elbowed him in the stomach." I lie.
"McGee are you ok?"
"I'll be fine." McGee says as he stands up straight again.
"Well, I'm going to go and see if Doctor needs any help." Palmer walks over to the van and Kyla IMMEDIATELY goes back to flirting.
"I'm going to go say something." I say. I start to walk over but Tony and McGee grab my arms.
"Oh no you don't." Tony says.
"Why not?!"
"If you make a big deal in front of Gibbs, you will be in BIG trouble." McGee says.
"But I have to say something."
"Do not say anything about you dating, just try and get him away from her." Ziva suggests.
"Ok." I slowly walk over to Palmer and Kyla.
"What do you want?" Kyla snaps.
"Don't talk to her like that." Palmer says putting his arm around my shoulder.
"What did I do to you?" I ask.
"Never mind. Anyways, Jimmy. Would you like to?" Kyla asks.
"Sure." Palmer says.
"Like to what?" I ask, starting to feel unimportant.
"None of your business." Kyla says and walks away. I look up at Palmer with questioning eyes.
"I... I gotta go... Sorry, Ash." Palmer says as he runs off.
