"Ok, Abbs. What's really going on? I want to know the truth." Gibbs says.
"Gibbs... McGee and I are dating." Abby says.
"Yeah. I know."
"How'd you know?"
"Abby, it's kind of obvious."
"Oh..."
"I'm happy for you."
"You are?!" McGee says as he joins the conversation.
"Yes. Very. You two deserve to be happy."
"Thank you, Gibbs." Abby smiles.
"Yes, thank you." McGee says.
"Awe! Yay! That's great!" I say.
"Well... Let's not put the attention on us now... It's your day. Not ours." Abby smiles. I look at Palmer and blush. "What? It's the truth! Now go dance or something."
"Alright." I laugh.
"May I have this dance, Mrs. Palmer?" Palmer asks.
"You may, Mr. Palmer." Palmer grabs my hand and leads me to the dance floor.
"Have I told you how beautiful you are today yet?"
"No. But I knew what you were thinking. Have I told you how handsome you are today?"
"Yes. Quite a few times." We both laugh as the music starts to play. I put my arms around Palmer's neck and he puts his around my waist. We dance as if we were the only people on the planet. I love every second of it. Palmer is the best I could ask for. As the song finishes Palmer pulls me close and kisses me.
"Awe." We hear the cooing of our 'audience' that snaps us out of our daydream. I blush and giggle a little as Palmer and I go to sit.
"Thank you all for coming, this a special day for not just Ashton and I, but for all of us here. Today is the day when our two families become one." Palmers says. Everyone applauds. A beautiful description of what really happens on a wedding day.
"Can I say something?" Gibbs asks.
"Yeah! Of course!" I say.
"These two are incredible. Both amazing at their jobs. Kind. Caring. And pretty damn tough when we need them to be. I'm so glad that I came to know these two. I hope you have an amazing life together and cherish what blessing was given to you."
