I wake up not remembering anything that had just happened. I was face down in a pool of blood. I jump up and put my hand to my face. I must have been hit because my nose and lip are both bleeding badly. "Ashton?" I hear a voice call. I can't tell who it is, my ears sound like they have water in them. My nose starts to hurt. "Ashton!" Tony comes running up to me.
"Tony? What happened?" I ask as my head starts to pound.
"Someone grabbed me and another hit you into the ground with a chair. But don't worry, I got them. Now let's get you to Ducky."
"I'll be fine, Tony." I take my hand down from my nose and blood gushes down my face.
"You're not fine." He picks me up and carries me to the car. He takes off his plaid shirt and hands it to me.
"What's this for?"
"To catch your blood." I sigh as I put his shirt up to my face. He drives us back to NCIS.
"Hey... What happened with the guys that did this?"
"The police were waiting for us. They took them." He gets out of the car and picks me up. He carries me down to Ducky.
"Ashton!" Palmer yells as he sees me in Tony's arms. "Are you ok?" I shake my head no. "What happened?!"
"She was hit in back of the head with a chair and fell to the ground where she hit her face." Palmer takes me out of Tony's hands and places me on one of the tables.
"Thanks for bringing her down here... I can take it from here." Palmer smiles. Tony turns and walks to the elevator. "Let me see." He moves the t-shirt away from my face. "Oh my god!"
"What is it, Mr. Palmer?" Ducky asks as he walks in, he then looks at me, "Oh my."
"I know."
"What?! What's wrong?" I ask frantically.
"Well, my dear... Your left eye is purple and swollen, your nose is black and blue and your lip is split open." Ducky says.
"That looks so painful." Palmer says.
"Well that's because it is!" I snap, Ducky and Palmer stare at me, "Ducky, Palmer. I'm so sorry."
"It's ok, Ashton. I understand you're in pain." Palmer says as he kisses the top of my head.
"Are you two..." Ducky looked at us.
"Uh..." we mumble.
