Time for confessions

Weeks and weeks passed after you and Gaster walked to the park, and as time flowed right by you, you noticed that Gaster's colours were more vivid each day.

Due to this fact, you decided to search for a way to free him from his ghost body, and actually find a way to give back his own body.

You were actually curious...how would Gaster look like with a normal body?

But everytime you brought back the argument, he always looked...rather sad. It almost looked like he didn't want to talk about it.

However...you had your problems as well.

Things were becoming worse with Jack. Everytime you tried not to think about him, coming up with reasons for him ignoring you and forgiving him, but the urge to check the phone and text him, to check if HE texted you was becoming unstoppable. And he never looked interested in starting a conversation.

You weren't actually sad, just stressed and angry. A LOT angry. It was an injustice towards you.

You weren't shining like the days before, and this was hurting Gaster deeply.

You were forgetting about yourself. Gaster had even to check on you sometimes, even though he couldn't do anything. He also had to water with magic, magic who was also slightly, but significantly, growing, the echo flower you brought with you weeks ago, when you fell in the underground and met him, and prevent it from wilting.

Every day at work you showed up with eye-bags from sleeping less, and Jim, who was used to see you glowing and cheerful, was checking on you as often as he could. Gaster didn't trust anyone apart from you, Sans and Papyrus, but he recognised the help Jim was trying to give you.

And let's admit it, Gaster was kinda jealous that you would appreciate more Jim's help than his.

Luckily for him, you appreciated both, but you would have asked Gaster more for comfort.

...

4:00 pm. End of working day.

You exited from the skyscraper and directed towards home, checking your phone now and then for new messagges.

Gaster was growing significantly worried. Suddenly, a light bulb appeared on his head as an idea rushed through his mind.

"Y/N, do you remember when you told me about the amusement park?"

"...yeah, and?" you said, not removing your eyes from the screen, which made Gaster nervous.

"Why don't we go there? I think it would do you good, you should have some fun"

You suddenly stopped walking and finally removed your eyes from the screen.

You turned your back to face Gaster.

"You...want to go there?"

"Yes. I am seriously worried for your well-being, and I want you to put aside that phone of yours and not give a fuck about that scum"

You looked like you wanted to reply, as you opened your mouth but closed it again.

"Gaster, I...

...I don't want to go there"

"Why not?"

Heat went up from your neck to your cheeks as you prepared yourself mentally for what you were about to say.
