Boyfriend
You woke up two hours later with a stinging pain in your head, and you immediately put your hand on it and hissed in pain.
You looked up and saw Gaster staring at you, almost with a worried but lost look. Did something happen to him?
"G-Gaster...? What, what happened? Are you alright?"
He seemed a little shocked.
"Heh, you're strange, you got knocked out and the first thing you ask is if I'm okay. Do I need to remind you that I have no corporal form?"
You laughed a bit, still rubbing your head.
"Actually, what happened? Before I could faint I saw...what looked like pink slippers, and I heard a weird phrase"
His pin pricks got significantly smaller, but you couldn't see this.
"What have you heard?"
"I don't remember well...something like "Hi dad"...but I'm not totally sure about it. Might have dreamed it as well"
"...yeah, that's the most probable option" he lied.
"Still, why did I get slammed on the wall? What happened? Have you seen anything?"
Gaster was internally pleading for you to stop asking questions before you could discover something.
"I don't know either, I was looking around when I heard a sound coming from the kitchen and the next thing I saw was you on the floor. I know, this doesn't help much..."
Please, whoever is up there, make her believe my lie he internally pleaded.
You raised an eyebrow in confusion, but then shook her head.
You then sighed.
"Well, might as well try to forget this..."
As you tried to massage your head after that slamming, Gaster thought about what had happened a few moments before.
He then snorted, remembering something from when Papyrus and Sans were still kids: one day Sans, when he was still a kid, practicing with his magic almost stabbed Gaster with a bone. Luckily it didn't happen, and Gaster was all good.
Until now.
He made a sad smile, reminiscing the old memory.
He was starting to wish to have a body again. He was sick of being either slime or a ghost.
He looked at your chest, where your soul was supposed to be.
Wait a bit more, Gaster...
But he was doubtful.
Meanwhile, you had gotten up and cleaned around. You weren't hungry anymore, so you just went to bed.
But you weren't tired, obviously due to the hours you spent fainted.
You hugged your knees under the blankets, and bored, you called Gaster.
He used to stay out of the room while you slept. Did he even sleep as a ghost by the way?
"Gaster...? Are you there?"
He immediately appeared into the room.
"Need something?"
"I wanted to talk. It wouldn't hurt, would it?"
"Aren't you tired?"
"Nah, I...slept before, didn't I?"
He chuckled, and presumably nodded.
