I clench my teeth, turning away from Luna. I stalk over to Evan and grab him by the collar of his shirt.
"We need to talk," I growl in his ear.
Evan shrugs to Rose, and I push him so were a good 30 feet away from Rose's eyes and ears. "What's up?"
I blink. "You tell me we're brothers, give me up to the fire nation and then all you say is 'What's up?"
"Pretty much!" He says.
I groan. "Evan, you are the scummiest of scum."
Evan holds his hands up. "Just hear me out," he says more seriously.
"Fine."
"I'm sorry for leaving you in the Fire Lord's hands, but I had no choice. The Fire Lord uses me to catch his special victims, and I can't say no or he'll kill me because of my bloodbending status. No offence, but you and Princess weren't worth dying for."
"Wow," I say sarcastically. "Thanks alot." I pause. "3 questions."
"Shoot."
"Why are you here?"
"I sent a grip at the Fire Lord. He didn't take it to well. Had to flee."
"What do you want?"
"To reconnect with a bloodbending person, whom I betrayed but didnt want to betray, and to take down the Fire Lord because he.... He just needs to go down. I have a very personal grudge against him."

Evan eyes pop out of his head. "No! She's all yours!"
"Fine. But keep your distance from Rose. For her own sake. Clear?"
Evan avoids my eyes.
"Maybe."
