The night is still young, but Wendy opens the door complete with a yawn and dressed in her finest sleeping attire, her eyes still red from our little 'episode'. As Evan explained the situation to her, it was not hard to observe her general unsteadiness, her rather broken com posture, and the smile was not present on her face.

Still, she went back into her house, and emerged a couple minutes later with her bag, bursting with items, in toe behind her. I hear her murmur something to Evan as she struts down the stairs, before heading right past me, looking behind me without giving me a glance.

Evan looks at me confused. "She said she's only doing this so she can find better men abroad then you? What?"

I groan. "Let it slide," I mutter bitterly. Evan shrugs.

"Which port are we going to, Evan?" Gwen calls.

"Port F3," I reply.

"Evan?" She calls.

"Port F3," he replies.

"Thank you!" She calls back faking a cheerful attitude.

Evan nudges me. "See?" He whispers. "She's a b*tch!"

"Don't call her that," I say, irritated. In all truthfulness though, I was starting to agree with him.

When we get to port F3, Gwen has a bit of trouble getting her luggage in. I, being myself offer to help her, but she pulls water from her satchel and slaps me off her bags, and then proceeds to make a water funnel, mechanically lifting up her suitcases and shoving them into the hull.

Alright, this is getting annoying. "Wendy-" I start.

"Shut up," she cuts me off. "And don't call me Wendy. My name is Gwen."

And off she goes.

What? Why are girls so confusing?

Evan comes up to me, and whispers one word into my ear. "B*tch."

"Shut up."

The ride seems like forever. There's no communication whatsoever between the three of us, and the boat's musty air doesn't seem to be helping much either. We hit the Earth Kingdom in 4 days. After going through all the security procedures, they periodically detained me when I said I was half Fire Nation. They took Gwen and Evan for questioning, and I guess they both cooperated (Gwen was able to mention my name) because they released me after 2 weeks.

And then I went on the worst 3 months of my life ever, traveling around the whole Earth Kingdom with my brother who sold me to the Fire Lord, and a girl who refuses to make eye contact with me, or even refuses to say my name.

I was glad when we came into a small town named YangLei and were informed of the existence of a girl with a bionic leg and a bionic limb, living in a nearby house.
