Jaden tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. He looked at his surroundings and had no fucking clue where he was. Each and every house was huge, way bigger than the house Jaden currently lives in, with his roommates, Bryce and Josh.

Jaden sat in awe as he looked at the house his phone told him to arrive at. It was huge, really. There were a plethora of doors and vanity windows. It was more of a Mediterranean villa type of home, with the LA twist.

There were many cars parked in the driveway, Jaden felt nervous. He thought he would be meeting Travis at his studio, not his house. Jaden sighed, parking the car and getting out.

He walked up to the amazingly large black door. Looking closer at the door, Jaden could see the intricate designs. He rang the doorbell and waited.

Stuffing his hands into his pockets and looking at his shoes, he sighed. He felt nervous, it was clear on his face that he was, but he was also relieved. He didn't have such a stable childhood, when he was around seven to fourteen, he moved around a lot. Neither of his parents was in the military, but they had a lot of financial issues.

It really didn't become stable until he was in high school, but still, then, he was always a little short when it came to money.

Now he was standing in front of a mansion, in the hills, about to sign a record deal with one of the biggest drummers ever.

Jaden was pulled out of his thoughts by the door opening. He looked up and saw the bald but tattooed-headed man.

"Jaden!" Travis exclaimed, putting his arms out.

That's another thing Jaden found out about Travis, he was a hugger. "Hey Trav," he smiled, accepting the hug. But Jaden couldn't complain, he liked hugs.

"Come in," Travis smiled, putting the boy into the house.

The house was huge on the inside just as it was on the outside. There was a spilled staircase, like the one in the Disney movies, a grand chandelier, and a lot of victorian floral patterns. It sounds like it doesn't work, but it does.

"Nice place," he mumbled.

Travis laughed, he could see how struck the boy was, "Thanks, Kourt picked all the decorations out," he rubbed the back of his neck.

Jaden's eyes widen, "Kourt—as in Kourtney Kardashian?" he asked.

Travis nodded, "Yeah. We've been dating for a while now, and even live together."

"So I have the chance of seeing her?" He still couldn't wrap his head around that.

"I think she might be dropping by, but let me go introduce you to the people you will be working with," Travis placed his hand on Jaden's shoulder and guided him to the kitchen.

The living room they walked threw blew Jaden's mind, and so did the kitchen.

There were a few people standing in the kitchen, a tall boy with curly black hair, a girl with long blonde hair. A guy who was holding drumming sticks that had split colored hair, and one last guy in a suit holding a briefcase.

"Jaden this is my son and daughter, Landon and Alabama. This is your drummer, Tosh, and that's the legal guy, Mark," Travis named everyone.

"My drummer?" Jaden's mouth hung agape.

Travis laughed, "Yes, your own drummer."

"Yo I'm Landon, I dig your shit man," Landon dabbed Jaden up.

"Thanks, man, how old are you?" Jaden asked. The boy looked young but sounded way older.

"Eighteen, I know I sound older," he laughed.

Jaden nodded.

"I'm Alabama, but you can call me Bama," the blonde said.

Jaden nodded, "You're very pretty."

Alabama smiled, "Thank you!"

"And that leaves me, Tosh. I've worked for Trav for years now. I'm glad he's letting me pick my vocalist," he smiled.

Jaden chortled, "Good to know."

They eventually carried on with looking over papers, which Rachel, already looked over and given her approval with.

"So sign right here on the dotted line, and initial here and here," Mark pointed with the pen and then handed it to Jaden.

Jaden had a huge smile on his face, but a pit in his stomach. He wished his parents were there. They are his biggest supporters.

Travis noticed the boy's hesitation and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, "If you don't want to do it, Jae, no hard feelings," he said calmly.

The small gesture and words meant everything to Jaden. He was now looking at Travis like a father figure. "No, I want to do it," he smiled.

He placed the pen down on the dotted line and scribbled his signature. he wrote his initials on the spaces. He set the pen down and let out a breath.

"Welcome to the DTA family Jaden!" Travis pulled him into a hug.

Jaden wrapped his arms around him. They pulled apart and Landon greeted Jaden with a DTA records hoodie.

"Welcome Jaden," he said.

Jaden took the hoodie and let his fingers feel the soft fabric, "Thank you," he said, smiling.
