Colson was at home, crying. No one was around, not even his daughter, just him. He spent the night at Jadens but he had to leave in the morning. Megan kept texting him nonstop. He hated it. He told her to leave him alone, but she wouldn't take a hint.

It wasn't hinted he was dropping literal words. He tugged at his hair as another sob wracked through his body.

He threw his phone and curled further into a ball. He hated this, he hated confrontation, he didn't hate her but strongly disliked her.

He stopped crying and was more of hiccuping now, but there were still tears running down his face. He heard a knock on his door and he got up. Casie was still at her mom's or at least should have been. He got up and shuffled over to the door and cracked it open, peeking through. He was right, it was her...

It was Megan but with a blonde girl this time. He didn't know who she was or even why she was here, u=but he assumed it was part of Megan's plan.

"Megan, I told you to leave, why are you here and who is she?" He asked.

Megan chuckled, "Colson, baby, this is Jaden's girlfriend," she smiled.

"Quit bullshitting, he doesn't have a girlfriend, he's gay," Colson stated. He knew he was right, but there was a part that did doubt his words.

The blonde smiled, "Yeah we are fixing that. He's not really gay, it's just a phase," she said.

Colson scoffed, "You know what was a phase, him being straight. He was and will always be gay. You cant change that, so leave before I call the cops," Colson threatened.

"You wouldn't," Megan said.

"Oh but I would. Leave," he pointed.

"I'll leave but I want you to stay away from my boyfriend," The blonde spat.

Colson grabbed her wrist, "Fuck off, he's mine. You're gonna leave and you're gonna le time have him. If not I will call the cops on you both for harassment," he spoke harshly. "Got it?" He asked.

The girl nodded, "Yes sir," she shook her head and he let go. She fell back and quickly backed up.

"Got it, Megan?" He looked at her, death in his eyes.

"Yes," she nodded. She knew he was true to call the cops, and she didn't need this on her record. Both girls left, to go wherever. Colson was tired. He slid down the wall and sighed. He hated feeling exhausted.

He looked for his phone with his eyes, luckily it was within reach of his arms. He grabbed it and called Jaden. He needed him to come over, he wanted him over. Jaden agreed, he knew Colson wasn't feeling great and that he had something going on. Colson knew he owed Jaden an explanation.

Jaden left his house quickly. As soon as he heard how bad and hoarse Colson's voice sounded, he knew he had to go over. He couldn't understand much of Colson's rambling but what he could make out was " owe ou 'planation," it was like a toddler mumbling but Jaden understood.

Jaden was a little on edge the entire drive there. He may have yelled at a few, people, a lot of people. He tapped on the steering wheel and bit his lip. He thought about stopping at a gas station store and getting some snacks, which he went for.

He wasn't super sure about what Colson likes so he guessed. He also got some painkillers too.

"Girlfriends time of the month?" The worker asked.

Jaden shook his head, "Uh boyfriends upset," he answered.

The cashier's eyes widen, "Oh well, I hope he's okay," they smiled. Jaden nodded and paid for the things.

He got to Colson's house after another twenty minutes of yelling. How his voice wasn't gone yet, he doesn't know.

He got out of the car with a bag in his hand and knocked on the door.

"Come in!" He heard Colson yell. Jaden walked into the house and was hit with the smell of vanilla. He liked that it was Colson's scent.

"You seemed sad, so I bought snacks," he held up a bag of snacks and drinks. Colson smiled and made grabby hands.

"You are like the best," he smiled, the sadness was gone.

Jaden smiled and gave him the bag of snacks, they both went back and forth about who got what. Jaden loved these little moments.

"So I said I owed you an explanation," Colson started, "And I think its time I give it to you," he added.

Jaden grabbed his free hand, "You don't owe me shit, Kells. But I'm not one to stop you, so go ahead," Jaden gave it a squeeze.

Colson nodded, "So I'm not sure if you knew. But I was dating someone, Megan Fox. We were on and off for months, but I ended it before we ever hooked up. She and I have hooked up once since then, but I cut ties for good after. She's shown up at my house every few days begging me to take her back, then I accidentally mentioned you, then she started saying it was a phase. Which I find funny because she's bisexual, but that's her words. And today she came here with some blonde girl saying she was dating you and that you were going through a phase. I don't know what happened really, I just blacked out. I think I threatened to call the cops if they came back up and they just kinda left after that," he said.

Jaden took all of that shit in, "Thats a whole lot, I'm sorry man," then he got to the part that caught his mind, "The blond girl hat says she's dating me is my ex, I haven't told you about her because I didn't know if that mattered yet. But that's Emma, she's just a bitch and we have a long history. Which I won't bore you with though. But thanks for telling me Colson," he smiled.

"No problem. You can tell me about Emma another day, whenever you're ready," he smiled.

They continued talking and just asked random questions about whatever. Both of them left out the fact that they called each other "Boyfriend" in their conversation.

They were content with spending time like this, they both loved this.

i spent three hours hanging out with my ex girlfriend. i actually liked it.
