Jaden scuffled down the stairs Tuesday morning, to the smell of pancakes wafting through his nose. He walked into the kitchen and saw Bryce cooking and Josh sitting at the table.

"Morning Jae," Josh greeted. Jaden was still sluggish and tired, sleep still present on his face.

"Mornin'," he mumbled.

"You have any plans for today, Mr.Rockstar," Bryce asked, flipping a pancake onto the stack.

Jaden picked his head up from the table, "I think I'm meeting Travis at the studio to finalize the song, and maybe go out for drinks after. And I thought we were agreed for you to stop calling me that?!" He spoke, quickly.

Bryce perked up at the words of drink, "Drinks you say?" He wiggled his brows.

Josh snorted, "Only you pay attention to that," he rolled his eyes, jokingly.

Jaden chuckled at the two, "You guys can come, Trav says that friends are important, and you guys are important to me," he sighed.

"Jae, you don't have to. If you want it just between you and Trav, we understand," Josh softened his voice.

Jaden shook his head, "It's fine. I want you guys there, and plus, since I'm gonna be at the studio more now. I think you guys should meet Travis!" He exclaimed.

Josh nodded, "Alright," then took another sip of his coffee. Bryce walks out of the kitchen with plates and a plate of pancakes.

"Eat up! You growing boys need the food," he laughed.

Bryce was the older of the three, he being twenty-two, while Jaden is twenty-one, and Josh was twenty.

"Bryce I stopped growing, in like sophomore year," Jaden groaned.

"I don't think I'm done growing, I bought pants a month ago, and now they're too short?!" Josh complained.

Jaden smacked the table, "Be happy you're not fucking five-ten," he gritted. He may have sounded harsh, but they knew he was joking.

The other two just laughed and they all continued eating their food since they all had plans today. Josh was going to a few meetings, and Bryce was driving to vegas to look at a property out there since he was wanting a home out there.

After they finished eating, Josh and Jaden did the dishes, since Bryce made food. And then they all parted ways for the day.

Jaden ran up to his room in the apartment where they lived to get dressed in something that wasn't pajama pants. He racked through his closet looking for some pants to wear and a shirt. He pulled out some baggy dad jeans and a white shirt that was slightly cropped, probably Nessa's.

Which reminded him, that he should invite Cooper and Nessa out for drinks. He grabbed his black high-top converses and started to get dressed. He stood in front of the mirror and deemed his outfit good. He ran a hand through his hair, attempting to fix it.

He grabbed his wallet and phone, stuffing them in his pockets. He ran down the steps and grabbed his keys. He walked out the door and to the parking lot. He found his car and got in.

Starting the car and turning on some music, he was ready to go.

Arriving at the studio, he was overly excited. This song was probably his favorite one yet, and the work that Travis did to it was amazing.

Jaden walked into the building and to the room, he and Travis were always in. "Hey Trav," he said as he entered.

"Yo," Travis looked up from his phone, "I added a few more things to the song, wanna listen?" He asked the boy.

Jaden nodded, "Sure!" He said, enthusiastically.

Travis pulled up the final product of the song and played it for Jaden.

The song ended and Jaden's jaw was on the floor, "That was fucking dope as fuck!" He jumped out of his seat.

Travis chortled, "I see you like it," he smiled.

Jaden nodded eagerly, "Like it—pft, I fucking love it!" He shouted.

"I'm glad you do, so now we can talk about release dates for it. But first, have you heard of Machine Gun Kelly?" He folded his hands together.

Jaden sat back down, "Uh no. I don't think so," he said, perplexed.

Travis nodded, "Well he's a great friend of mine, we've been friends for years now. And he and I have started working together recently. I was wondering if you would like to meet him, and if he's up for it, maybe make a song with him?" He asked.

Jaden's brain was failing to process any of this. He hadn't thought that far into song-making of working with another person, and Travis made this guy seem like he was a huge music person. Probably is, so it was very overwhelming for him.

"Jaden, you there?" Travis waved his hand in front of the boy.

Jaden shook himself out of his thoughts, "Yeah I would be okay with meeting him."

Travis smiled, "Great!" He typed something on his phone and then looked back at Jaden, "So let's talk music video and then get cracking on your next song!" He cheered.

Jaden nodded and pulled out a pen to start writing.
