Chapter Nineteen

Artemis's P.O.V
It was the last month of Summer and both Draco and I spent most of it together as we spent most of it outside as we hung out most of the time and ever since I had written to Fred, the both of us had been writing to each other throughout the entire summer as he told me the pranks and jokes he had done with his brother George throughout the summer so far and it had put a smile on my face every time I time I read his letters to me and I would always write back about how they had made me feel as well. Both Draco and I were hanging out in the living room as the both of us had been reading for a while before seeing an Owl fly into the room before letters had landed in both of our hands and saw that they were from Hogwarts, "what is dear's?" mother asked us, "there letters from the school." Draco told her as we both opened them to see that they were a list of things we needed, "it's just a list of the things we need for school." I mentioned to them, "alright, we will take you in a few days alright." Mother told us and we both nodded before putting the list back into the envelopes and continued to read for a while longer before we took a break from the books we read. Later on, I decided to go to my room to get everything I needed packed as I pulled my trunk out from under my bed and gotten everything out and ready before putting it all into my Trunk and it had taken me a while as well as I wanted to make sure that I had everything packed before I closed my Trunk and putting it back under my bed before hearing someone knock on the door, "come in." I said before hearing the door open and I turned to see that it was Draco as he stood in the doorway, "what's up?" I asked him wondering what he wanted, "just making sure you're alright. You've always been down after the argument with Father at the start of summer. Except for whenever I walk past your room, I would sometimes hear you chuckling or laughing." he said to me and I sighed a little before we both sat down on the bed, "yes I have been down ever since the argument, that's only because father didn't want me to have friends like Harry or Ron or Hermione and thought I was disgracing the family. They were the first friends I made since we started Hogwarts besides having you and it made me feel better and Crabbe and Goyal are only friends with me because I'm your sister." I said to him and he held my hand, "I understand Arty and I'm alright that you're friends with them as long as they make you happy." he said to me and I rested my head on his shoulder, "and about hearing me laugh and what not, it's because Fred and I have been writing back and forth all summer." I told him and he chuckled, "of course you were, I figured you wouldn't go without trying anyways, I just thought it would have been sooner." he said to me and we both chuckled and we continued to talk for a while before we had gone down for dinner.

Later that night, I had gone back to my room for the night and I sat by the window like I've always done and read a book and decided to finish it since I didn't have much of the book left to read before hearing someone knock on the door before opening it and saw that it was Draco again, "what is it now dear brother." I said to him, "nothing, I just wanted to hang out with my dear sister." he said and I smiled a little before he sat down in front of me and looked out the window and the both of us talked and hung out for a bit before he decided to leave and head back to his room for the night before I continued reading my book until I finally finished it before I had gotten up to put it back on the shelf before looking for another to read for later before decided to head to bed for the night after washing up and getting changed and as soon as my head hit the pillow, I quickly fell asleep that night thinking about Freddie.

Fred's P.O.V
Throughout most of the summer, both Artemis and I have been writing to each other and I had told her about all of the pranks and jokes that Georgie and I have done and I was glad that it would cheer her up whenever she had written back telling me so after she had told me that her and her father had gotten into an argument and I began to grow feelings for her as well ever since this past year and all throughout the Summer Holiday, I couldn't get her out of my head and I was thinking about tellu Georgie about it as well soon but I was always nervous about it before since I thought he would tell me otherwise. I was soon brought out of my thoughts when I heard someone walk into the room and I saw that it was Georgie and I sighed a little, "you alright Freddie, you've been seeming off since you've been writing to that Secret girl of yours." he said to me causing me to chuckle a little, "yeah, I'm alright George. I want to tell you something but you have to promise not to freak out or anything." I told him and he nodded, "go on then, tell me." he said and I sighed again before finally letting it spill, "I am beginning to like Artemis Malfoy." I told him and the room was silent as George just sat there staring at me with no emotion on his face. After a moment had passed, he finally spoke up, "you're joking right. Do you not know who she's related to?" he said to me and I shook my head, "why did I even bother telling you." I said to him, "what do you mean? Her brother is a menace and so is her father. She's probably only trying to act innocent just to get to you or something." he said to me and I furrowed my brows a little, "what are you on about, what if she wasn't? What if she isn't trying to do anything of the sort then what would you say?" I asked him and he said nothing and I sighed, "I'm sorry George, I didn't mean to act out like that." I said to him, "no, it's fine. I shouldn't have either. If you like her that much then I am alright with that, just as long as you're happy, then I'm happy." he said to me and the both of us hugged it out before hearing someone else walk into the room, "everything alright in here, I heard shouting." Ron said to us, "everything is fine Ron. don't worry about it." I said to him and he nodded before leaving and George and I just hung out for the rest of the night talking about it.

Artemis's P.O.V
It was finally the day that Mother and Father were taking Draco and I to Diagon Alley and by the time we had gotten there, Mother had take me around while Father had done the same with Draco as we walked around and into the shops we needed to go to, to get our things that we needed and marked everything off after we had gotten it. By the time we had finished getting the stuff we needed, the four of us met up in the same spot we were at when we left, "shall we get something to eat, I'm sure the both of you are hungry." Mother mentioned and we all nodded before looking for somewhere to eat before finally a place to eat and we all sat down and told the waiter what we wanted before he walked off and the four of us just talked for a while before the man came back with our food and we started eating as we continued to talk. After a while, we had finished and paid before we left and eventually made it home for the day and I went straight to my room so that I can organize and pack the things I had gotten for school as I pulled my Trunk out from under my bed and put it on my bed before opening it and figured out where to put everything. By the time I was done, I saw Draco walk into my room just as I was closing my trunk, "what's up?" I asked him, "nothing, just seeing how you were doing." he said and I nodded before putting my trunk under my bed again, "I'm fine, how about you?" I said to him, "I'm alright. Did you get everything you needed for school?" he asked me and I nodded "yup, did you?" I asked him and he nodded as well, "yeah, I did." he said and we continued to talk and hang out throughout the rest of the day before we had gone to bed that night.
