Chapter Sixty: Deathly Hallows

Mother, Father and myself had made our way to the dining room since Voldemort called for another meeting and the other Death Eater’s had began to arrive as well before we all sat down and Voldemort soon began the meeting before Snape came late as he walked into the room as everyone looked to him before Voldemort spoke up, “Severus. I was beginning to worry you had lost your way. Come, we’ve saved you a seat.” Voldemort said to him before Snape sat down, “you bring news, I trust?” Voldemort asked him, “It will happen on Saturday next, at nightfall.” Snape told him, “I’ve heard differently my Lord. Dawlish the Auror has let slip that the Potter boy will not be moved until the 30th of this month, along with the Malfoy’s daughter. The day before he turns 17.” Yaxley said to Voldemort, “this is a false trail. The Auror office no longer plays any part in the protection of Harry Potter and they never had any involvement with Artemis Malfoy. Those closest to them believe we have infiltrated the Ministry.” Snape said before one of the others spoke up, “well, they’ve got that right, haven’t they.” they said and everyone laughed, “what say you Pius?” Voldemort asked, “one hears many things, my Lord. whether the truth is among them is not clear.” Pius said to him as he sat on the other end of the table, “heh, spoken like a true politician. You will, I think, prove most useful, Pius. where will they be taken, Potter and Artemis?” Voldemort said, “to a safe house. Most likely the home of someone in the Order and I’ve also heard that Artemis was never with Potter in the first place and was already staying with someone else. I’ve also been told it’s been given every manner of protection possible. Once there, it will be impractical to attack him and to get Artemis from them.” Snape said and my worry for Artemis continued to grow for Artemis, “My Lord. I’d like to volunteer myself for this task. I want to kill the boy and I promise to retrieve the girl.” Aunt Bellatrix said to him before hearing someone from the cellar, “Wormtail. Have I not spoken to you about keeping our guests quiet?” Voldemort asked him, “yes, my Lord. right away, my Lord.” Woramtail said before leaving, “as inspiring as I find your Bloodlust, Bellatrix, but I must be the one to retrieve the girl to help me kill Harry Potter. But I face an unfortunate complication. That my wand and Potter’s share the same core. They are, in some ways, twins. We can wound, but not fatally harm one another, if I am to kill him I must do it with another’s wand along with the help of Artemis Malfoy’s profound abilities. Come, surely one of you would like the honor? What about you, Lucius?” Voldemort said as he eventually stood up from his seat and walked past everyone before walking up to father, “My Lord?” Father questioned, “‘My Lord’ I require your wand.” Voldemort said as he held out his hand and I can tell father was scared as he grabbed his wand and gave it to Voldemort, “do I detect elm?” Voldemort asked, “Yes, My Lord,” father said to him before Voldemort snapped the end of it, “and the core?” he asked father, “Dragon Heartstring, My Lord.” Father answered, “Dragon Heartstring.” Voldemort repeated before managing to move the woman that was a Professor at Hogwarts toward us, “to those of you who do not know, we are joined tonight by Miss Charity Burbage who, until recently taught at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Her speciality was Muggle Studies. It is Miss. Murbage’s belief that Muggles are not so different from us. She would, in her way, have us mate with them. To her, the mixture of magical and Muggle blood is not an abomination but something to be encouraged.” Voldemort said to everyone before she tried to speak, “Severus. Severus, please. We’re friends.” she managed to say to him before Voldemort killed her and I panicked a little hoping that no one would find Artemis after this, “Nagini. Dinner.” Voldemort said as the snake made its way onto the table and made its way toward Professor Burbage’s body and finished her off.

After the meeting was over and everyone left the house, I had gone straight to my room and decided to put a Silencing Charm on my room and before I could lock the door, Mother and Father made their way into my room and once they had closed the door, I quickly locked it so no one else would come inside, “what do we do. We can’t let him get to Artemis. And if he does, who knows what he will do to her if he wins.” I said to them, “we understand dear. Have you heard anything from her recently?” Mother asked me and I nodded, “yeah, she said that the Order Snape mentioned earlier had a plan and that they knew that the other Death Eater’s thought that she was with staying with Potter until recently and they plan to not just move Potter from where ever he is, they plan to do the same with Artemis and use others as decoise.” I told them and they sighed a little, “well, I’m glad that they're doing something about it at least. The last thing we want is for him to take her from them.” Father said to us, “did you put a Silencing Charm on the room?” mother asked and I nodded, “I’ve done it just before you guy got here and I’ve locked the door just in case” I told them and the three of us continued to talk about it for a while before the both of them had left the room and I thought to myself before thinking about writing to Artemis about what Voldemort had said to everyone and once I was done, I sent it off with her owl hoping that everything goes well.
