Artemis’s P.O.V
It was another day and Draco and I were in Charms class and not long after everyone had arrived and sat down before Professor Flitwick had started the class, “one of a Wizards most rudimentary skills is Levitation or the ability to make objects fly. Do you all have your feathers? Good. Now, don’t forget the nice wrist movement we’ve been practicing. The swish and flick. Everyone.” he said to us and we repeated what he said, “the swish and flick” we all said, “good. Oh, and enunciate. Wingardium Leviosa. Off you go then” he told us and we said it as we tried it on the Feathers he had given us and I eventually got it and I noticed that Hermione had as well, “well done. See here everyone, Miss. Granger and Miss. Malfoy has done it. Splendid.” Professor Flitwick said to everyone before Seamus’s feather blew up in his face, “I think we’re going to need another feather over here Professor.” Harry said before Professor Flitwick had gone on with the rest of the class before dismissing us for the day and Draco and I had eventually done our homework together for a while until we were finished with it and hung out and talked for a while and had a few laughs about what had happened in Charms class, “I’ve noticed Seamus tends to make his spells explode every time. I’m starting to wonder how he does it '' I mentioned to Draco, “I know but I’m sure there will be a lot more where that came from to be honest.” he said to me and we continued to talk before it was time for us all to head to the Great Hall for dinner.
Myself and Draco, along with everyone else, had gone to the Great Hall for dinner until I needed to go to the bathroom, “I’ll be right back. I need to use the restroom.” I told Draco before leaving and by the time I had made it to the washroom, I heard someone crying and I knocked on the stall door, “is everything alright in there?” I asked them, “I’m fine. I just needed a moment.” they said and I heard that it was Hermione before she walked out before I noticed her face change, “what’s wrong?” I asked her before I noticed her look up and turned to see what she was looking at only to see that there was a troll standing behind me, “bloody hell. Get back in the stall.” I managed to say to her and not long after, it swung its bat breaking the stalls and both Hermione and I ducked as wood landed on us before seeing Harry and Ron standing there, “Hermione, Artemis move.” Harry shouted and Hermione and I tried getting out as the Troll sung it’s bat again and I noticed that Harry and Ron were trying to distract it, “ok Hermione go, hurry.” I said to her and we both managed to get out and before I got to Hermione, I moved out of the way before the Troll sung it’s bat before Harry managed to get on the Trolls shoulders before shoving his wand in it’s nose and Ron had managed to levitate the Trolls bat before dropping it on the Trolls head knocking it out as it landed on the floor before Hermione and I got up and winced a little as I held my arm to my chest, “is it dead?” Hermione asked, “I don’t think so. Just knocked out.” Harry said to her before grabbing his wand from the Troll's nose and I winced in disgust before Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape and Professor Quarill rushed in to see what had happened, “oh my goodness. Explain yourselves, all four of you.” Professor McGonagall said and we tried to explain before Hermione spoke up, “it’s my fault Professor McGonagall.” she told her, “Miss. Granger?” Professor McGonagall questioned, “I went looking for the Troll. I’ve read about them and I thought I could handle it. But I was wrong. If Harry, Ron and Artemis hadn’t come and found me, I’d probably be dead.” Hermione told her, “be that as it may, it was an extremely foolish thing to do. I would have expected more rational behavior on your part and I am very disappointed in you Miss. Granger. Five points will be taken from Gryffindor for your serious lack of judgment. And as for you three I just hope you realize how fortunate you are. Not many First Year students could take on a fully grown Mountain Troll and live to tell the tail. Five points will be awarded to each of you for sheer dumb luck. Now come with me Miss. Malfoy and we will get you to the Hospital Wing and check on your arm.” Professor McGonagall said as we left the bathroom.
By the time we had made it to the Hospital Wing, Madam Pomfrey had rushed over as I sat down on one of the beds and I winced a little when she checked it, “well, it looks like you may have sprained your wrist dear. But if you drink this, it will be perfectly healed by tomorrow.” she said to me pouring something into a cup before giving it to me and I drank it trying to keep it down before I heard rushed footsteps and saw that it was Draco, “I heard what happened. Are you alright?” he asked me and I nodded, “yeah I’m fine. I wasn’t the only one there though. Both Ron and Harry fought the Troll off and managed to knock it out but when Professor McGonagall, Professor Snape and Professor Quarill came, Hermione had eventually taken the blame for it instead we all got Five points out of it though.” I told him, smiling a little and he had done the same, “since you have a match tomorrow, father sent this earlier while you were gone.” Draco told me and I set it down on the bed to see that it was the Nimbus 2000, “bloody hell. It’s one of the fastest brooms in the world.” I said to him smiling, “Miss. Malfoy, you are free to go back to your Common Room when you’re ready.” Madam Pomfrey told us, “thank you Madam Pomfrey.” I said to her, smiling a little, “we should get back then.” Draco said and I nodded before we finally left the Hospital Wing and made our way back to the Common Room for the night. By the time we had gotten to the Slytherin Common Room, both Crabbe and Goyal came up to me, “are you alright. Draco told us what happened.” Goyal said to me and I nodded, “yeah, I’ll be fine. Just a sprained wrist and Madam Pomfrey said it will be healed by tomorrow.” I told them as we sat down on the couch as the fire was going in the fireplace and the four of us continued to talk for a while longer before we all decided to go to bed for the night and through half the night, I couldn’t sleep as I was thinking about what happened before thinking about the Quidditch Match between Slytherin and Gryffindor in hopes that we win and after a while, I finally fell asleep that night.
