When I Met You (GXG)

CHAPTER 8

It's been one week since the mall thing with Miss Rich and kuya Adam. Lutang ako ngayon kakaisip sa nalaman ko kay Miss Rich noong araw na hinatid ko siya sa bahay niya galing mall. Bakit ko pa kasi tinanong yun eh.

"M-miss Rich can I ask you a question?" kinakabahan kong tanong sa kanya.

"You're already asking." she responded. Kinuha ko na lahat ng lakas ng loob ko sa kaloob looban at loob pa, para lang matanong ko ito. Di ko alam bakit ba gusto ko itong malaman, pero di ko talaga mapigilan ang sarili ko. Tumikhim ako bago magsalita.

"M- may boyfriend po ba kayo M- miss Rich?" or girlfriend? my heart beats faster than a while ago. I think right now I'm not nervous because I asked, but I'm nervous in what she will answer.

"I have a fiance."

A wave of sadness filled my heart, I don't know why but I feel so sad. I can even feel my hands in the steering wheel sweaty. Gosh, why do I feel so down and sad all of a sudden?

"What's with you today?" the scene in my mind fades when Leia approached me. Okay this is new, may sakit yata ito at pinansin ako ngayon. I was startled when she offered me a bottled water, I didn't accept it right away dahil nagtataka padin ako sa kinikilos nito.

"Peace offering." I finally accept the bottled water when she said that. Kakatapos lang ng training namin ngayon, at nagpapahinga ako dito sa bench.

"You seem to be in a bad mood. Your team wins against me today." Kaya ba pinapansin niya na ako dahil nagawa ko na siyang matalo?

"I didn't know you are that eager to win when you have some problem." she added. Paano niya naman nasabi na wala ako sa mood at may problema ako? Is she that good at observing people?

"Pwede ba magsalita ka, babatukan na kita! Kanina ka pa parang lutang na nakatitig sa akin." Agad akong natauhan sa sinabi niya. Nakatayo kasi siya sa harap ko habang ako naman ay nakaupo.

"S- sorry, I'm just surprised na pinapansin mo na ako ngayon." she smirked at me and then she seated on the bench beside me.

"I'm also surprised, I found myself talking to you." she then looked to me with a small smile. Ngayon ko lang na appreciate ang ganda niya, dahil ngayon ko lang nakita siyang ngumiti.

"You should wear a smile often." I replied.

"Do I look good with it?"

"Everyone looks good with it."

"Except Momo." I gave her a questioning look.

"Who's that?" twice member ba yun?

"The trending girl with a creepy face before in the internet." oh yeah, I remember that.

"She's truly an exception." I said which made her chuckle.

"Do you know Professor Velasco?" she suddenly asked.

"Yeah, she's my professor in Microbiology class." I frowned. "Bakit?"

"Professor lang? No other relationship?" Why is this question so random?

"Oo, professor lang." palang. charizz. She nodded in response as she believed in what I said. Bakit kaya siya nagtatanong about her? Di kaya may gusto siya kay Maam?

"Bakit mo naman naitanong? Do you..." like her? 

"have a crush on her?" pagbabago ko nang tanong.

"Do you?" she gave back the question to me. I didn't answer, I got nervous so I just licked and bite my lips to hold back my nervousness.
