When I Met You (GXG)

CHAPTER 39

I showed her the handkerchief that she gave me that night. Yes I kept it, with the cap that I wear that night. Her eyes looks surprised looking at it. I bite my lips before saying something again.
 
"I swear, I want to tell you everything. But I don't have the courage to, I don't know how to tell you everything. I know I was wrong, I'm really sor-"

"I missed you."

My mouth automatically closed when she didn't let me finished and then said that. I swallowed hard, feeling my abnormal heartbeats at the moment. I inhaled sharply when she slowly put her hand in my neck.

We were talking here in the living room for like an hour now, she saw me cried, confuse, angry for all the things that I shared to her. But she never say a single thing, she just listened carefully. This is the first word she told me, that she missed me.

"You don't have to be sorry about everything. I understand you Aiko." I gulped when I heard her call my name, like how she used to call me before.

"I'm glad we still have a chance to talk about everything. Aaminin ko, there's a part of me na iniisip ko, siguro talagang wala naman akong halaga sayo noon. May mga gabi na di ko maiwasang magalit sayo dahil palagi nalang akong walang alam, at parang pinagmumukha mo akong tanga kasi wala akong maintindihan sa nararamdaman mo o kung ano nga ba ang mayroon tayo."

"Pero pagkagising ko ng umaga, wala na agad yung galit nayun. Ganun kita kamahal noon eh. But after all these years na dumaan lagi kong ding iniisip, what if hindi kita ni let go, what if hindi ako tumigil, what if pumunta ako sa kasal mo at umeksena ako." she chuckled after because of the last sentence she said which made me smiled too.

"I knew it. Alam ko na makakaya mo ang lahat. And I think I'm just finding for the reasons behind of all the things that you've done, you did a great job. I'm happy for you, Aiko. I hope your heart is full now that you are free." she sincerely said.

"You know there's still missing in here." I pointed my finger to my heart.

"It's LZY MD." she smiled when I told her the initials from the handkerchief she gave me years ago. Now I know what the initials mean, it's her name. What does Y means though?

"What does Y means?" I curiously asked.

"Yakira. My Mom and Lola wants to name me Yakira but ended up not adding it anyway dahil tatlo na yung pangalan ko. It means precious in hebrew she said. That's why my Lola always calls me my precious apo, kasi ganun din yung tawag ni Lola kay Mommy." Yakira, that's beautiful.

"My Mom gave me this, when I told her I want to be a Doctor. This is her gift to me on my birthday. It's very important to me, eh kaso kawawa naman yung babaeng iyak ng iyak dun sa bar, kaya ayun binigay ko nalang. Balak ko pa nga sanang balikan para kunin eh, kaso ang awkward naman nun." we both let out a laugh because of that.

She reach for my hand and then hold it intertwined with hers. Dahan dahan niyang nilapit ang mukha niya sa akin, kaya naramdaman ko ang pagdiin ng kamay ko na nakahawak sa kaniya.

"Relax.... di kita gagahasain." she smirked after saying that. When our faces is finally close to each other. She let our foreheads touch, I closed my eyes as I feel our breathe. I licked my lips then bite it. I want to....

"Kiss me." I commanded, I opened my eyes to see her. She stroked my hair but still looking at me. After that, I felt her warm hand on my face which made my heart flutter.

"Ligawan stage palang tayo Aiko. Hindi ako ganun karupok." I let out a small laugh from what she said.

"Marupok ka Zen. Makikita mo."

After that day, nothing happened. I mean we haven't talked about what will happen to our relationship. She didn't answer me too if I can court her. But I'm gonna continue pursuing her anyway.
