CHAPTER 38

"Good Morning class, I'm Professor Aiko Rich Velasco, I will be your professor in your Microbiology class. I don't want anyone of you calling me in my first or last name, call me Miss Rich, not Prof Rich. Is that clear?" I said trying my best to keep it cool in front of them. They all greeted me, after that I offer them to take a sit. I was about to look at my folder to check the attendance, but then my eyes went to the student at the back that is still standing.

I froze when I recognize her. What the heck, why is she here? Of course, she's a student Aiko, what a stupid question. Suddenly my heart is beating so fast, it's been a long time since I saw her. She gotten more taller and pumayat din siya, unlike before she's much in shape. But nothing change to her face... it's still... the same as before.

"I said sit." I said while looking at her. It looks like she's not on her right mind, so she was startled when I said that. She looked at her colleagues that is looking at her, she immediately sat down when she realized she's the only one who's standing. I let out a little smile as I watched her getting embarrassed.

While I'm discussing in front, I can't focus. Not because there's a lot of students looking at me, but because she is looking at me. Wala yatang oras na hindi siya nakatingin sa akin habang nagsasalita. I guess that's how she listen to her professors.

"Miss at the back...." I said as I call her. She looked behind her, not realizing there is no one behind her. Didn't she know she's at the end of the row?

"It's you Miss, look at me and stand up." I commanded. She slowly stands up while looking at me.

"What more do you expect in my subject Miss..." I stopped as I pretend to ask for her name.

"Alcazar, Ly Zenith Alcazar, Miss." she told me.

"Okay Miss Alcazar, what do you expect the most in my subject?" her eyes averted mine as I looked at her intently. Feels like no one else is here at the room, just me and her.

"For me, I expect mo-" she was about to answer when the bell rang. I never hated the sound of the bell not until this. I badly wanna hear her voice.

"Save by the bell Ms Alcazar. You can go now class, except you Ms Alcazar." I commanded.

When we reached my office, I gave her a folder and told her to look out for attendance in class. There's no need for that actually, but this idea just suddenly comes into my mind.

"Look at me Ms Alcazar." she keeps on averting her eyes on me, I don't like it.

"Look into my eyes." madiin kong sabi sa kaniya. I felt something in my stomach as our eyes met, god this girl is still giving me butterflies without even doing anything. It's been a long time, but I'm still having this weird feeling over this kid.

'I love you!'

I can't help but to look at her, I saw how startled she is when she saw me looking at her. I can't imagine my face how I look at her, but she looks scared on it. I just rolled my eyes on her and then I entered the university.

A minutes after while walking away, I can't help but to turn around and look at her again. My brows furrowed when I saw her with someone, and the girl's hands are on her waist. I looked at the girl whose she's with, my heart starts to beat more faster when I saw it's my sister. I looked away immediately and not knowing what to do next. 

Why do I feel something is hurt in my heart? So what Richaine? let her have her life.

Walking on the hallway, I saw both of them together again. My bad mood turns badder. She called her babe, what the hell? Kakalipat lang namin dito may kalandian na agad ang kapatid ko? I didn't know she was this easy.
