"Hey , Charlotte?" a tall man with brown eyes, black hair that's brushed to the side, and some stubble on his chin and jaw says looking pointing at me. "Uh um yes, I'm sorry what's your name?" I question the tall man smiling at him. "Oh yeah sorry I'm Liam, I'm Waverly's friend." he says smiling, extending his hand for me, and I take it and we shake hands. "C'mon I'll walk you to Mr. Lombardo's office and on the way there I'll let you in on some tips that might get you the job" he says, extending his arm indicating for me to enter the building and wow is this building tall and huge, I mean I worked at other construction companies and they're big but this one is huge. I thank him and we start walking inside. He tells me all about his boss, Mr. Ivan Lombardo he says he is intimidating which I already new I mean why wouldn't he be he is the CEO of the best Construction company in the country, he says he can be brutally honest, and that some people may find him rude for that reason but he also says that if you are good at what you do and don't interfere with his decisions you won't have problems which is exactly what I want I just want this job and get on with my life I mean do you know how EMBARRASSING it is to say oh yeah I'm a 23 year old girl whose 29 year old brother pays for everything. No, I want to be independent and show people I'm more than capable of taking care of myself.
"This is his office, I'll let his secretary Camilla know you're here," Liam says, pulling me out of my endless thoughts. I see him talking to this blonde gray-eyed girl who looks like she's kind... until she looks at me, she looks like she wants to strangle me right at this moment. What the hell did I do to her in the 5 minutes I've been standing here?
"Alright, she's going to let Mr. Lombardo knows that you're here. Well I gotta go back to my office but good luck let me know how it goes." he says while walking away from me making me laugh and I reply to him "Thanks Liam" and he turns around walking backwards raising his thumbs up smiling and then he's around the corner to where I can't see him anymore.
"Ms. Carter," the secretary says, pulling my gaze away from the way Liam went. "He's expecting you right now" she says with a little bit of attitude but I shake it off. "Oh uh- thank you" I say and she leads me into his office. Oh my god his office is huge. It's very organized. His desk is in the middle of the room and when he looks up at me all I can see are his piercing hazel blue eyes. Oh jeez seeing him in pictures is one thing seeing him in person is a whole different dimension. Our eyes lock and he offers me a smile when I return his secretary leaves the room and he gets up and starts walking towards me and with every step he takes I feel like I'm getting closer to fire, my body just heats up with every step he takes.
"Ms. Carter, Liam tells me your a Landscape Architect and from what he says your amazing so let's see if it's all true" he says extending his arm which I take "uh- yes I'm a Landscape Architect and I'd say I'm pretty good at it" I say and he smile switch makes me feel a little more confident... that's until he looks at me again when he sits down on his chair and gestures for me to sit opposite him. Something about his stares make chills run down my spine and make me forget why I'm here.
"Well, do you have any sketch designs that you could show me?" he says and I simply nod and hand him my portfolio. He opens it and pulls out the three sketches in there and places them on the table. "Have you done any real work, I mean have your designs been used before?" he questions and I do not reply to him confidently "Yes! Actually I don't know if you've seen the Nature section of the restaurant Italiane Coal. I designed it when I was working at my first company. "He just stares at me "You designed the natural section of Italiane Coal? Wow okay so I definitely underestimated you" he says which makes me feel proud of the ways I answered him. And I reply to him with an answer which causes him to chuckle "people seem to underestimate me a lot but I'm full of surprises".

**Nature section in Italiane Coal**
He asked me questions about my background and he read the recommendation letters. He then asked me something that my answer seemed to throw at him. "What can you bring to the Lombardo Construction Company that no one else can bring?" He asked me to lean back in his chair. "Honestly, there isn't something I can bring that no one else can and there isn't something someone else can bring that I can't but I know how to work my ass off as you know I haven't always came from a family that's had everything like now and I assure you if you give me the job i will try everything to make sure you don't regret it" I say and he looks at me like if he's never heard a response like mine. "Well... I'll have my secretary contact you later on today to let you know if you got the job" he says offering a small smile which I return, "thank you" I say and before I walk out he pulls my attention "you know there is always something someone can bring to a company that no one else can I just have to figure out what it is" he says and I look at him blankly and he does as well " thank you Mr. Lombardo for the interview, I'll be waiting for your secretaries call" I say and he gets up walking towards me and he leans in and he so close that he can almost kiss me, kiss me, please kiss me, no stop Charlotte he can be your future Boss. While I'm trying to keep myself calm he reaches for the door knob and opens the door for me to leave. I walk out and leave the building and head to do some grocery shopping.
