"Do you want me to come in with you Ms. Carter?" Jasmine says and I nod. "No it's okay Jasmine, wait for me here, I'll try to be quick," I said to her as I got my bag.
After my appointment the doctor told me that I'm doing better and I don't have to take much care of the incision because it's healing pretty quickly. He said that in a month or two the scar should be almost barely visible. I started to walk into the company. Everyone greeted me smiling and some came over to give me hugs. This is so fucking weird. I greeted everyone and went to Liam's office. His secretary told me to enter and I did.
"Charlotte!" Liam shouted while I entered his office he went over to hug me. "Hi!" I said to him, returning his hug. "So here are the sketches. I am still redesigning some but I'll give them to you when they are done. Oh and before I forget I need you to meet with the owners of the Venue to discuss when we can start construction." I said to him, giving him the sketches and sitting down on the chair while he went to his. "Okay, sounds good, wow these are good!" he said and I smiled. "Okay so these are the papers I need you to sign" he said. "Do you mind if I read them over and then sign them, I'll send them back with Ivan" I said and he nodded. "Um sure I mean I read them I could just tell you what they say but if you feel better reading them over that's fine I just have to have them by the end of the week so in 2 days" he said chuckling. I smiled and got up. "Okay I will send them to you as soon as possible, well I'm going to go I'll see you around" I said and walked out of his office after he came over and hugged me.
I started to walk over to Ivan's office when Tony approached me. "Hey, I didn't know you were in today?" he said and I hugged him in a greeting way. "Hey ! I'm not I just had to drop some papers off, are you coming over tomorrow to work with me and Alexandra?" I asked him. "Yes! Ivan showed me Alexandra's work and she's talented" he said and I smirked at him. "You know you just gotta ask me to put you on right? She's single" I said to him and he started laughing. "Whoa! I haven't even met her yet" he said and we started chuckling. "Well I'll see you tomorrow Charlotte" he said and I nodded and started to walk towards Ivan's secretary.
"Hi Allison, could you let Ivan know I'm here" I said and she nodded. She called him and hung up. "He said to go in," she said, sending me a kind smile. I thanked her and walked into his office. And placed my bag on the chair and walked over to him. "Hey" I said to him, he got up and wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine on his neck. He kissed me and I kissed him back. "What'd the doctor say?" he asked. I let go of him and pressed the button on the bottom of his desk that locks that door. I parted my cardigan and pulled the top up a little enough for him to see that I didn't have a gauze and that it was healed. "You don't need it anymore?" he asked and I shook my head. "He also said that it should start to decrease in size and in a month it should be barely visible." I said and he kissed me. "I love you '' I said to him, parting away from his lips after kissing them one last time. "And I love you," he said. I looked at his desk. "What are you doing?" I asked. He sat down on his chair and patted his hand on his lap for me to sit on them. I sat on them. "I'm just looking over some papers and signing some things," he said. I got up and straddled his lap facing him with one leg on either side. "I got some papers that Liam wants me to sign but I want to go over them before I sign them and I kinda need your help with that" I said chuckling and he nodded. "We'll go over them... when I uh... get home... later" he said, getting distracted by the fact that I started to kiss his neck and earlobe. I pulled away and closed my eyes.
"I fucking hate the damn pills" I said and he started chuckling. "I kinda like them sometimes," he said, kissing my lips. "How are you doing? Emotionally wise, yesterday you seemed like the pills were having its kicks" he said in a serious tone. I sighed and hid my face on the crook of his neck. "It's just... sometimes I'll be fine and then all of the sudden I'm not." I said , placing a kiss on his neck and looking up at him. "Like I would be fine, calm a second and then the next I'm paranoid and sad or like sometimes small things upset me" I said to him and he nodded. "I know baby and it hurts me to see how much it's making you struggle but it's just until you're better and I'm here to help you through it" he said and I just sighed and got off his lap and walked to the window.
