I woke up and saw that Charlotte and Liliana weren't on the bed. I looked over to the bassinet and Liliana wasn't there either. I got up and checked the bathroom for Charlotte but she wasn't there. I left the bedroom and walked over to the nursery room and the door was closed. I remember leaving it open last night which means the girls are probably here. I sighed in annoyance. I know Charlotte wants me to rest but it's not good for her to be stressing out and taking all the responsibilities. I love her for making sure I'm fine but she needs to take care of herself too.
I quietly opened the door and the first thing I saw was my little girl sleeping in her crib. I quietly walked inside, closing the door behind me. I leaned down and placed a very careful and gentle kiss on my baby girl making sure she doesn't wake up. I looked behind me and saw Charlotte sleeping on the couch. She had a small blanket covering her and she hugged a pillow. I sadly smiled and walked over to her. I crouched down and kissed her on the lips.
She hummed in response and I pulled away, she opened her eyes and I saw her tired hazel eyes. She smiled at me and spoke, "good morning handsome" she said and I got up and gestured for her to stand up. She looked at me confused and got up, I picked her up gently bridal style, she smiled and hummed at this. I took her to the room and placed her on the bed. I made sure the baby monitor was working before getting in bed with Charlotte. I slipped under the cover and Charlotte placed her head on my chest hugging me close. I sighed and kissed her head.
"I'm sorry... I know you're upset" Charlotte whispered to me and I sighed. I layed on my side, looking in her eyes while she looked at mine. "Yes, I'm upset. But I'm also worried" I whispered to her, she closed her eyes and sighed. "Why are you trying to do things and figure it out on your own?" I asked her and she opened her eyes. I could see the tiredness, the sadness, and also the fear she felt in her beautiful eyes.
"I just... I feel like I'm not doing enough" Charlotte said and I arched my eyebrow in confusion. "Honey you're doing too much" I said and she looked at me hopeful. "You think so?" she asked and I nodded. "I just want you to feel proud of me... of us" Charlotte said and I chuckled. "Baby, when you were in that hospital bed going through labor that was the proudest I have ever been. You gave me the gift of being a father and I could never be more proud of the type of mother you are. I see how much you love Liliana in the way you look at her, speak to her, and the way you are with her," I said and she smiled. I leaned closer to her and kissed her. "I love you so much" she said and I smiled. "Get some sleep while Liliana sleeps" I said to her and she nodded, cuddling closer to me.
4 weeks Later:
Charlotte's POV
"Oh my god I can't believe Liliana is a month old already!" I said while I marinated some chicken. I looked to my left and Waverly was cutting some watermelon for a fruit salad. I looked forward and Alexandra was making some rice. Jasmine was to my left seasoning some ribs. I smiled at all of us cooking. Today we are having a cookout here at my house today. The guys are outside with the kids and preparing the grill while we finish up in here. Abby finished the vegetable salad so she brought it outside.
"Hey, Lili won't stop crying" Violet came in and said to me with a crying Liliana in her arms. I put the lid on the container with the marinated chicken and went to wash my hands in the sink quickly. I dried my hands and walked over to Violet. "Thank you for watching her" I said to Violet, offering a smile which she returned. I took Liliana from her arms and walked upstairs to the nursery. Maybe she feels too hot, I mean it is 90 degrees outside. I changed her into her little bathing suit and put a little white strap dress over it. She seemed to calm down so I placed her inside her crib and started to pump milk out for later.
After pumping a couple of bottles I changed into my bathing suit. I was feeling more comfortable in my skin because it didn't change that much after birth and I have been working out like normal again. I put on a one piece one shoulder cutout swimsuit and put on a cover up.

***Charlotte's Outfit***
I called Abby and had her help me bring the bottled downstairs while I carried Liliana. We went downstairs and everyone was outside hanging out. There were 13 of us all in total counting the kids.
I walked over to Ivan who was talking with Justin. "Hello" I said looking at both of them, Ivan took Liliana, kissing her cheeks then kissing me on the lips. "Hi Tin Tin," I said, hugging my brother. "Hey Lottie" he said, returning the hug. Justin took Liliana from Ivan and took her to the hammock.
"You are breathtakingly gorgeous" Ivan said, making me remove my gaze from Justin and Liliana to him. "And you are breathtakingly handsome my love" I said, kissing Ivan on the lips. "I'm so glad Lili is finally getting down to her night routine," Ivan said and I smiled. "Yeah when she wakes up crying is only when she's hungry and she calms down and falls asleep quickly!" I said doing a small happy dance earning a laugh from Ivan.
"I put her bathing suit on" I said grinning and Ivan looked at me annoyed. "Which one?" he said and I started to laugh. "The bikini" I said laughing and he groaned in annoyance. I wrapped my arms around his neck and whispered in his ear. "I'm kidding, but that's a really nice sound to hear when I'm riding you tonight" I said and Ivan's grip on my waist tightened.
"Are you sure you're ready?" Ivan asked and I smiled leaning up to his ear and whispering again. "Oh I'm sure, what are you telling me you don't want me tonight? Because I would really like to please you tonight" I seductively said kissing his earlobe releasing small moans. Ivan's grip on my waist tightened once again. "Going to have to wait baby" I said, kissing his lips. Ivan smirked and we started to walk over to the pool which everyone was entering.
I took off my cover up and noticed Ivan looking at me hungrily and I smirked at him. I removed Liliana's dress to reveal a one piece swimsuit and Ivan looked so relieved. I find his overprotectiveness over Lili at such a young age amusing, it makes me wonder how he's going to act when she's at the age where boys are around.
I go inside the water and Lili at first starts to cry but soon calms down when she sees Ivan. "Look Daddy is in here too, it's okay baby" I cooed to her while I approached Ivan. He placed his arms around my waist and I wrapped my legs around his waist. He walked around the whole pool with me wrapped around his waist while holding Liliana. After about 10 minutes I got out with Liliana since it's not good for her to be inside the pool too long. I went and put some sunscreen on her and myself before going on the hammock. I rocked her to sleep while the sun still hit us a little bit. It was being covered by the tree making it feel cool but comfortably warm.
