We got home and went to change. The girls waited for us in the living room because Waverly was going to help us look for a house. Ivan got a phone call so I went downstairs to get started with Waverly.
"So what exactly are you looking for?" she said. Shit I don't even know, well I know what I want in a house but I don't know if Ivan wants the same. Thank god he came in just in time. "She said What are we looking for exactly?" I said and he picked me up from my seat and sat me on his lap. "Whatever you want," he said. He's so cute and thoughtful. "No it's what we want" I said, emphasizing the 'we'. "Okay... I want a big house with a big backyard and pool, maybe a hot tub" he said and I smiled. "Yes! Backyard is a deal breaker and it has to be big for when we have...." I started and stopped myself.
Good job Charlotte. Are you trying to scare the poor man away! You're already talking about kids.
"For when we have kids" Ivan said catching my attention he kissed me. "Not yet but we will have kids," he said and I nodded. "Yes not yet, I was just lost in the future I guess... I'm not making any sense so let's move on" I said and he started to chuckle at my dumbness. "How many bedrooms?" Waverly said and I looked at Ivan. "3 or more bedrooms" he said and I looked at him wide eyed. "The more rooms the more expensive" I said to him and he looked at me. "I have all the money in the world and it's going to be our home. Let's reward ourselves." he said and I smiled. He was right. I never reward myself. I need to live life more. "4 bedrooms sounds good to me" I said looking at Ivan who nodded at me smiling. After a while Waverly found 5 houses for us to look at and see if we wanted to check them out. They were all so beautiful but one stood out to me the most. It had a huge beautiful backyard. I looked at Ivan.
"I really really like this one" I said to him smiling and he rubbed my back with his hand. "Me too," he said. "Maybe we could design the backyard for our liking. I mean why not use our profession for something so important to the both of us" I said to him and he nodded. We ended up making an appointment to tour the house in a couple of days and I was so happy. We filled out some things that Wave needed. Alexandra and Violet decided to go to sleep a while ago and I was starting to get really tired so I checked the time. 2 am, great.
"I think we should head to bed since I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at 10:30 am" I said to them and I could see Ivan's face. He looked at me in a guilty and embarrassed way. "It's okay if you didn't remember and can't go, Jasmine is taking me so you can take James babe" I said , placing my hand on his cheek. "I'm sorry... again" he said and I chuckled and kissed him.
We headed upstairs and got ready for bed and I knocked out instantly. I was so tired and I needed to wake up tomorrow. It's been a month since my surgery and the scar has been healing quickly. So I hope that everything is good.
I woke up and tried to feel for Ivan next to me and noticed he wasn't there I picked my phone up and looked at the time it's 8am great, I got an hour and a half to get ready I got up and went to shower and got dressed for the day. I put on a legging and crop top dark green set with a light brown cardigan and black Nikes. I went downstairs and saw the girls eating breakfast and Jasmine was here.

"Good morning, I'm sorry for making you wait Jasmine" I said and looked around for Ivan. "Its okay Ms. Carter," she said and I smiled at her. "Marta!" I shouted and Marta came in with a bowl of strawberries. Which I took from her. "Where is Ivan?" I asked her and she smiled. "He told me to tell you that he left for work and didn't want to wake you" she said, giving me my pills and a cup of water. "He also told me to make sure you took your pills so I'm not moving until you take those pills honey" she said and I smiled. I know that Marta is very important to Ivan because he's known her for years. She used to work for his parents when he was younger and now she works for him. I took the pills and finished the bowl of berries and grabbed my purse and some papers I was going to drop off at the company on my way back. "You guys want to meet somewhere for lunch?" I asked the girls and they nodded. "Okay, why don't you meet me and Jasmine at Italiane Coal. They'll have a table ready for us" I said to the girls and they nodded and got up to kiss and hug me goodbye. Me and Jasmine got in the car and I called Liam.
"Charlotte hey!" I heard Liam say on the other end. "Hi Liam I was calling to let you know that I'll be dropping off the papers you need at the company around... 11:30-11:45" I said to him. "Sounds good, um do you have plans for lunch?" he said. He isn't asking to go eat lunch with his friends' girlfriends is he? What the fuck. No, maybe I'm just getting it over my head, "um I actually have plans with my friends... anyway I won't take up your time anymore I'll see you later" I said and hung up. I dialed Ivan. I wanted to let him know that I was on my way to the appointment so that he was aware. Plus I wanted to hear his voice.
"Hello butterfly" he said and I smiled at his words. "Good morning handsome, you left and didn't say anything" I said to him. "I didn't want to wake you, you didn't sleep much, and I left at 7:30 so it was too early for you to wake up" he said "it's the pills they make me a little more tired than usual, but i just wanted to let you know I'm on my way to the appointment with Jasmine, also I'm going to drop some papers off at the company to Liam and then going to lunch with Violet, Alexandra, Waverly, and Jasmine." I said. "You're coming to drop off papers for Liam?" he said. "Yeah he needed the sketches and he has some papers for me to sign" I say and I hear Ivan sigh. "Okay" he says "I love you, I'll maybe stop by your office when I'm at the company, anyway we just arrived at the clinic so I'll talk to you later my love" I said and he replied "I love you, be careful" he said and I hung up.
