I moved in with Ivan but we decided that we were going to do our original idea and buy a house later on but for right now we are good. Everything around me has changed. My brother got married, Tony and Alexandra are engaged and I'm her maid of honor, Jasmine and Gabriel are together, Waverly has a boyfriend, and Ivan and I are in a good place.
Although, Ivan has been acting strange lately and being a little extra... cuddly. He asked me if we could go on a date today and I said yes but he won't tell me where we're going. We arrived at the beach and I'm so happy I wore a dress. It's late in the afternoon so the sunset looks so beautiful. I took off my heels and we walked in the sand and then he suddenly stopped.
"Okay you gotta put this on" Ivan said and handed me a blindfold. "Why?" I asked curiously. And he smirked so I put on the blindfold while he guided me somewhere.
"The first day I met you, I knew something was different about you" Ivan said to me behind me while I had my blindfold on. I hummed in response and smiled. "That day I knew that I needed you to breathe," he said, removing the blindfold from my eyes. I opened my eyes and I saw something so beautiful. And on the sand there were 4 words formed with candles and I felt tears slip into my eyes. I turned around and looked at Ivan and he was down on one knee.

***Proposal***
"You are like the air I need to breathe, you're the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. I want to have kids and grow old together... I've asked you so many questions to which I wanted your response to be 'yes'... I just need you to say yes one more time" he said while I sobbed and smiled uncontrollably. He took out a velvet box with the most beautiful ring ever and spoke.
"Charlotte Carter, will you marry me?" he finally asked those words I've been dying to hear since the day we first started dating. "Y-yes, omg yes!" I said, wrapping my arms around him as soon as he stood up. I kissed him so many times and he kissed me back. He placed the ring on my finger and that's when I realized there was a photographer taking pictures of us to capture this important moment in our lives.
"I love you so much" I said to him, but today those words had the most meaning to them than they ever had.
"I love you too" he said, embracing me and then we walked to have dinner which looked so romantic might I add. I can't express the feelings I feel right now because there simply haven't been words created. But I know it's a good feeling, one of the best.
We finished eating and talked for a little. Now we are walking towards the car. We got in the car and I started to cry. I think everything is starting to finally hit me. I looked at my ring. My ring.
"What's wrong?" Ivan asked and I smiled at him. "I think it's all just starting to hit me... I'm your fiancé" I say, chuckling but also sobbing. He smiled at me and leaned in to kiss me. I kissed him back and our kiss was slow and full of emotions.
"By the way I assumed you would say yes so everyone is at your house to celebrate, Ale and Wave set everything up" he said, kissing my cheek after. I nodded and we started to drive to my house.
"So question," I said while he drove. He hummed in response telling me to continue. "I know it's too quick to ask but when do we want the wedding?" I shyly asked and I saw Ivan's lips form a smirk. "If it was up to me tomorrow" he said, making the both of us laugh. "No seriously" I said, smiling. "I would love a fall or spring wedding" he said and my smile grew even wider to the point where I was grinning. Ivan looked at me and then looked back at the road. "What?" he asked and I kissed his cheek. "Me too, I really want a fall wedding" I said and he nodded.
"How much time do you think it'll take to plan the wedding, love?" he said and I thought about it. "I mean I'm not sure we're both really busy for the next two months?, and I want it to be perfect," I said. I felt Ivan place his hand on my thigh and caress it. "I'm never too busy to plan the wedding my love, I just want to make you Mrs. Lombardo already" he said and I smiled, placing my hand on his neck moving it up and down in a soothing manner. "Well, right now we are in early November so I think maybe fall or spring next year?" I asked him hopeful questions and he nodded.
We got to my house. Yes, I call it my house even though I live with Ivan. Me and Ivan decided to prank everyone and walk in looking mad and sad. We walked in and everyone looked at us confused waiting for an explanation or an answer. I looked over at Ivan and we both smiled and shouted at the same time.
"WE'RE ENGAGED!" we shouted and everyone shouted 'congratulations' back and hugged us. "Oh my god my best friend is getting married!" Waverly said hugging me tears down her face making me sob again. After saying hello to everyone and speaking with them, Waverly, Ale and I slipped to the back yard.
"God, I'm engaged!" I said and they smiled at me. I looked at them and grabbed both of their hands. "I want both of you to be my maid of honors. I didn't know how to choose one between the two of you, you guys have gotten me through hell and back, you never gave up on me. So... I came to the conclusion of having my two sisters be my maids of honors" I said to the two girls while they cried happy tears. "There are no words for me to express how thankful I am for you two" I said and they hugged me. "We would love nothing more than to be your maid of honors" they both said. Afterwards we headed back inside and I looked for my fiancé.
I saw him talking with his parents and mine so I went over there. I hugged him and kissed him then directed my attention to our parents. "Oh honey we're so happy for you" my mom said and I smiled. "Thank you mom," I said, hugging her. "Sweetheart you look beautiful, I'm so happy for you two, and I'm glad everything worked out between you two" Pearl said, embracing me in a hug which I returned. "Thank you," I said, smiling at the four of them.
"Well if you would all excuse us, I want to spend some lonely time with MY BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, AND BREATHTAKING FIANCE!" Ivan shouted at everyone, making us laugh. We said our goodbyes to everyone and we left for our house.
