You and Me

Chapter 55

"Okay so Ale and Tony went out on a date, Jasmine, Gabriel, Wave and Allison went out to party, sooo I guess it's just Ivan me and you pumpkin" I said to Steph who was in the dining table doing homework while Ivan helped her.

"Do you want to order food or..." I asked the both of them and Stephany shot up looking at me shaking her head smiling. "No, can you make the stir fry thingie you make, pwease. I asked Ale to get everything you need!" she said giving me puppy eyes and I couldn't deny. She's too cute!. "Okay, finish your homework and watch something or play while I cook pumpkin," I said, kissing the top of her head and then pecking a kiss on Ivan's lips. I started to gather the ingredients. The dining room looked into the kitchen so I could still talk to them and see what they were doing.

"Can I ask you a question Tia?" Stephanie said while I cut some mushrooms. "Sure honey" I said looking up at her every once in a while. "Are you and Ivan dating?" she asked and I slightly chuckled and nodded my head. "Yes we are" I said and she squealed in excitement. "Yay that means I can call you Tio Ivan now right?" she asked Ivan and I looked up at them with wide eyes. Ivan looked happy but looked at me for my confirmation. I smiled and slightly nodded. "Yes you can, technically I'm not your uncle until I marry that beautiful lady over there," he said pointing at me and I just smiled. "Which I plan on by the way so yeah why don't you get in the habit sweetheart" he said and Stephanie hugged him and went back to doing her homework while I cooked.

Seeing their interaction makes me wonder what our life would be like if we had kids. I know that Ivan would be a great father because he is good with kids. Maybe one day we will be parents. Together. I would want nothing more than to carry the children of the man I love and raise them together. I hope that one day that will be our reality. For one day this will be our family, me in the kitchen cooking for us while he helps our oldest with their homework while we have other little ones run around.

I got back to cooking and eventually Steph finished her homework and went to play with her dolls in the living room while I finished cooking. I was stirring the stir fry while I was cooking the noodles, I decided on making a noodle stir fry. I was adding some spices to the stir fry when I felt two hands snake around my waist. I look over my shoulder to find myself in the embrace of the man I love. He kissed my lips and then looked back to the stove.

"That smells amazing love" he said and kissed my cheek while I giggled and took a fork and gave him a bite of the stir fry. He closed his eyes and hummed at the taste of the food. "Tell me why you never cooked for me before," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist even more. I turned around and wrapped mine on his neck. "Because you never let me," I said, kissing him. We stayed like this for a little while and then I went back to finishing the food.

"I'm almost done. Do you mind passing me 3 plates please, my love" I said. He nodded and opened the cabinet to pass me the plates. I plated the food and Ivan helped me bring it to the living room. We decided we were going to eat dinner while we watched a movie.

We ate and after I called Justin so that he could talk to Stephanie which was emotional after today. I asked Abby, who's also my sister in law. Apparently the day I was supposed to have brunch with my brother but he canceled for a date he had been seeing Abby for a couple of months. They got engaged about 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier. She took Stephanie in as her own and has always treated her kindly, I also notice that Stephanie likes her a lot too.

Stephanie went to bed after talking with Justin and Abby. Tony and Ale called saying they were going to meet up with the rest at a club so they were all going to be back very late so me and Ivan went up to my room for a little.

I changed into a long shirt and sleeping shorts while Ivan was wearing his sweatpants and was shirtless.  We laid in my bed talking, and taking in each other's embrace and love.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked and he nodded. This was a question I've been dying to ask but have been hesitant about. "What happened after you found out the truth, what happened with Camilla?" I asked and he sighed. "We stopped living together and I cut all ties with her," he said and I nodded. I looked up at him and smiled.

"I want to talk to you about us and our future," Ivan said looking at me and I nodded, telling him to continue. "Do you see us together?" he asked hesitantly and I looked up at him in confusion. "Are you kidding me? Of course I do! I love you, you're my whole world you know that... actually today.. I-I was picturing us with our kids in our home" I said shyly, looking down. He picked my chin up and kissed me. "I can't wait for that to be our life," he said smiling. "Me neither, I love you so much and can't wait for us to have our happy ending" I said and we snuggled in and drifted to sleep.
