"Remember, you need to keep your knees bent in a ready stance or else you will not have a powerful strike," you explain to Sokka as he clumsily spins his spear. Sokka tries the technique you showed him again and he fell on his rear.

"I just don't understand," Sokka complained. "I don't understand how an Airbender can know so much about weapon training." You smirked at him.

"That's because you don't actually pay attention when you watch me fight," you reply. You are one of the last Airbenders and Aang's significant other. Aang had fallen for you long before he had run away. Now you and the rest of Team Avatar are resting and preparing for the next fights to come. You and Sokka became friends because you were the only one who laughed at his humor.

"I give up. I can't swing the thing to hit the thingamajig over there," Sokka huffed in frustration. You walked up to him and Airbend your glider into your hand. Once it was in your grasp, you poked him in the head with the end of the glider.

"Get up! Warrior's never quit," you said in a stern voice. Sokka gave you a pouty face and grunted at you like a child. You lifted an eyebrow at him. "Maybe I wasn't clear." You hit the ground with your glider and Sokka was shot a few feet into the air. He screamed until he landed on the ground on his rear. "Stand up," you demanded. Sokka gave you a look and he grabbed his spear.

"You wanna toss me in the air like that," Sokka said as he was trying to trash talk.

"Awe. Did you bruise your masculine pride when you fell," you tease. Sokka tilted his head at you with wide eyes.

"This is gonna be fun," a Toph said from behind you.

"But Toph you can't see," Katara said.

     "And what's your point?"

"I think her point is that you are blind Toph," you heard Aang. You chuckled as you turned your attention back to the steamed up Sokka. He lunged at you with his spear and you just sidestepped him and swatted him in the rear with your glider. He fumbled forward. Everyone cheered as they watched you two fight. You only hit Sokka once and every other time, he just fell on his own. After he fell on his rear for the umpteenth time, he gave in and yielded.

"Okay...maybe I might have possibly bruised my pride... a little," he admitted. You smiled and squatted in front of him.

"Maybe you will listen to me next time," you said with a smile.
