Jet ~ Confession

     You were sitting on a tree branch trying to think about your feelings about what happened between you and Jet. You and Jet had gotten into an argument because Jet was being complicated. He had gotten upset with you for no reason. You and Jet have been friends for several years and he hadn't acted that way before. He admitted to Smellerbee that he was having mixed emotions whenever he was around you. 

     "Hey, can I join you?" You looked to the left and saw Jet chilling against the trunk of the tree. You shrugged and looked from the sunset to him.

     "That depends are you going to yell at me again," you asked. He pressed his lips together and exhaled through his nose. He walked over to you and sat next to you. 

     "Look I wanted to come here to apologize about what happened," he said. You looked at him.

     "Look I know that you are protective of your team but it's almost like you smother me," you said. He looked away from you and nodded. 

     "It's just what you did was way too dangerous. You can't just hit an explosive at point-blank range. You are lucky to be alive," he said. You rolled your eyes. 

     "I don't want to start arguing again, please. I get it. It was dangerous not only for me but for the team. I get it I'm reckless. I've been told this my whole life okay? I just didn't expect to hear it from you," you said truthfully. Jet put his hand over your and squeezed your hand slightly. You look down at your hands and look back at him. 

     "I never meant to undermine you. You are the most extraordinary girl I have ever met." He smiled at you and you turned rosy. 

     "I've just got to ask though. Why do you treat me differently from the others," you asked. He looked into your (y/e/c) eyes and turned rosy himself. He rubbed the back of his head.

     "I treat you differently because I have feelings for you. I kinda hold you to a higher standard because I know you can meet that standard," he admitted. You lifted an eyebrow.

     "And what standard is that," you asked.

     "Always being there for me and waking up every day with your beautiful smile," he said. You smiled at him.

     "What are you trying to say Jet," you asked with a grin.

     "I like you Y/n. There I said it," he said as he looked away from you. You put your hand on the side of his face and turned his face to look at you. Then you pressed your lips to his. He was shocked but he didn't refuse and he kissed you back.
