Jet ~ She's Mine!

     You were walking through the market and you were taking food from booths. You weren't caught since you were very good at deception. The whole town was having a festival and everyone was having a great time. A Firebender walked up to you and started to flirt with you. You didn't particularly like Firebenders because you were burned during a raid. 

     "Hey! What's a girl like you doing here all alone," he asked. You lifted an eyebrow. 

     "Is that really the best line you got? My Eel Hound has better game than that," you spat. You tried to leave but he grabbed you and pulled you to him. The smell of alcohol radiated off him. You tried to keep yourself from gagging at the smell.

     "Oh come on. We can have fun," the guy said. You shoved him off of you finally and dusted yourself off.

     "Look I'm not interested alright?! Now go drink until you forget your own name," you said. You turned your back to him and he grabbed you by your hips. You shouted as he tugged you back. You could feel his hot breath on your ear. Then a great force pulled the guy off your back.

     "Hey back off my girl," someone shouted. You turned and a guy with brown hair and hooked weapons stood between you and the drunk Firebender. 

     "This honey ain't yours. Now step aside kid," the drunkard said as he put his hand on the guy who saved you. The guy who saved you shoved the bender hard and he fell back onto his rear.

     "I said back off! I'm not gonna say it again. If you try anything or go anywhere near my girl, I'll hang you from a tree by your ankles," your savior threatened. The bender got up and grinned.

     "Whatever," he said then walked off. You let out a held breath as your savior turned to you.

     "Thank you," you said. He smiled at you which gave you butterflies. "What's your name?"

     "No problem. I'm Jet." He winked at you and you smiled. 

     "Not that I don't appreciate what you did but, why did you do it?"

     "I'm not a particular fan of Firebenders. I can tell you aren't either," he said as he brushed his hand over the burn that covered your shoulder to the top of your elbow. "Besides you don't need to fall victim to their stupidity." You blushed a soft color and smiled. 

     "Thanks again. I'm Y/n by the way," you said.

     "Nice to meet you Y/n. I was planning of checking out the rest of this festival. Care to join me," he asked as he put out his hand. You slid your hand into his and nodded.

     "I would love to." He smiled and pulled you to him. He hooked his arm around your neck and you both walked through the festival together.
