***First Person POV***

After arriving at the Northern Water Tribe, things seemed easier. Well for me at least. My cousin Aang was training and teaching Katara the moves he had learned, Sokka was following Princess Yue around like a lost puppy, and I am just enjoying the sights. Being frozen in ice for so long kind of makes you miss the simpler things in life. Granted being an Airbender is as simple as simple can get.

Even though we had been here for nearly a week, I had became great friends with Yue. She showed me around and helped me when I needed it. We have been hanging out quite often and I started to notice something was off. I just couldn't tell what. It was night and the moon reflected off the ice and made the ice and water glitter. Yue and I were sitting on the edge of the bridge talking since we both couldn't sleep.

"You mean Sokka nearly fell into his own trap," Yue asked as she giggled. I finished laughing as I replied.

"Yeah! Ya see, he isn't exactly the best hunter. Especially when his traps catch him instead of food." The both of us laughed. After a moment of silence, I looked out at the sky and looked at the moon. "Wow. It truly is a beautiful night tonight," I said, thinking out loud. I watched as Yue gave a small smile off the corner of my eye.

"Yes. Its truly is," she said. I turned to her and her eyes were still glued to me. I chuckled lightly.

"Well how would you know when you aren't looking," I pointed out. Her face flushed a soft color as she looked at her hands.

"I wasn't talking about the stars Y/n," Yue replied as she scooted closer. My eyes widened as I looked at her. She had this day dreaming kind of look in her eyes and that immediately sent me red flags.

"W-what are you doing" I asked as I slowly scooted away from her.

"Something I should have done a long time ago," she replied as she put her hand over mine. I pulled my hand away as I replied.

"But you are with Sokka! What about him?"

"Is it so wrong to want you both?" She pulled me to her by my arm as her lips crashed into mine. I did not know what to do. I couldn't exactly shove her off of me since she was a princess. I gripped her shoulders and shoved her back. She looked at me with disappointment in her eyes.

"No! Yue stop," I exclaimed. Then a figure caught my attention in the corner of my eye. I looked to my right and there was Sokka. He looked like his heart just shattered. I could see it in his eyes. He threw whatever was in his hands in front of him and stormed off. Damnit! I couldn't even look at Yue. I went and picked up what he had in his hands. It was a little figure carved out of ice. At least it was. I threw it at Yue's feet. "I hope you are happy now," I spat before running after Sokka. When I finally caught up to him, he wouldn't even answer me. "Sokka Please! Just talk to me," I begged as I put my hand on his shoulder to turn him around. He turned sharp on his heel and shoved me hard.

"How could you do that to me," he exclaimed as tears welled up in his eyes. "I thought I could trust you Y/n!"

"You can Sokka! Just let me explain," I replied with a loud voice. "Sokka please just listen to me!" Before I could even blink, Sokka slammed me into an ice wall, pinning me by my arms.

"You more than anyone knew how much I felt about Yue! You knew that I would bleed for her! You knew that Y/n! I loved her! But clearly that didn't mean jack shit to you since you were all over her tonight," he said as he shook me. His grip seemed to get tighter after every sentence. I started to wince but stopped, not wanting him to know he was hurting me. I gripped his wrists as I answered.

"I know Sokka! I know that you love her! And I would never deliberately hurt you like that! You know damn well that I would never cross a line like that!"

"Then why did you?!"

"Do you realize how much trouble we would be in if I hurt her?! Besides it's not like it was my choice! And for your information, she was all over me! I was trying to talk some sense into her but all she kept talking about was how she wanted us both," I exclaimed as I shook him back slightly.

"What," he asked in disbelief as he relaxed his grip. I nodded my head.

"Yes. That is what she was saying!" I sighed as Sokka's head fell and tears streamed his face.

"She never really liked me. She just wanted something to entertain herself with," he mumbled. My eyes began to fill with tears as I watched him break down. I pulled him to me and he finally broke down. He cried into my shoulder as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I rubbed his head to comfort him. "I was nothing but a toy for her to play with. How could I be so stupid," he cried. I shook my head.

"Hey, look at me," I said. He lifted his head from my shoulder and looked at me. His eyes were red and puffy. I held his face in my hands as I spoke. "You are anything but stupid. If she could see how amazing you are, she wouldn't need two people to make her happy. And you deserve so much more then that two timing princess." I wiped a tear from his cheek with my thumb. "I am just sorry I didn't realize sooner what she was doing," I said as a tear slid down my cheek.

"Looks like we both got played. I'm sorry Y/n," Sokka said as he grabbed the back of my head. I felt his fingers searching for a bump or something to show him that he hurt me. I took his wrist and pulled his hand out of my hair.

"Me too."
