You are the baby sister of Jet. You were taken away from him during a Fire Nation attack on your home. You managed to escape and you had been on the run ever since. You stole to survive and only fought if your life was at risk. You hadn't seen your brother for over three years and you had been trying to track him for a while. But because he is always on the move, you were always one step behind. People say that the first thing you forget about a person is their voice.

But you never forgot. His voice was what flooded your dreams at night. It feels like you are having premonitions but it's just him willing you to keep moving. As you trudged through the woods, you accidentally stumbled into a Fire Nation camp. You frozen where stood and looked at the camp. It was so quiet you could hear crickets.

"Yeah... I'm just gonna go," you said before attempting to turn around and leave. Just as you were about to turn, fire was launched at you. You leaned to your left and twisted your upper body to avoid getting hit. You looked at the soldiers and they were all charging at you with spears. You unsheathed two blades from the small of your back and dropped your bag, sliding it into the bushes. "Looks like we're going to have to do this the hard way," you mumbled to yourself as you charged at them.

You slid between the legs of the soldier in front of you and sliced the inside of both his thighs. As the next soldier was practically on top of you, you pushed yourself onto one hand and kicked the soldier the chest with both feet. Suddenly a child jumped from the trees onto one of the soldier's shoulders, pulling his helmet down over his eyes. Then a few arrows shot across the the way and took out two soldiers. Then a tall brunette jumped from the trees and took out three soldiers all at once. Two soldiers ran at you at once. You threw one blade at the first soldier's foot, stopping him in his tracks. Then you ducked under the second soldier's arm, hitting pressure points under his arm and down his side with your knuckles.

His right arm fell limp and he couldn't move. You jumped behind him and hit another pressure point along his spine and between his shoulder blades. He fell over unable to move and unconscious. Then you ran at the other soldier that you had pinned and ran your knee into his face. Blood flew from his face on impact and he fell over. You grabbed your blade and cleaned it off in the grass before sheathing it. The last soldier was about to attack the tallest kid with hooked weapons from behind. So you threw your blade at him, impaling him in the chest. He hit the dirt with a thud. The remaining soldiers that were still alive were chained up to a tree.

"Nice toss," the kid said as he took your blade from the soldier's chest. You smiled as you walked to him and took the handle of the blade.

"Thanks," you replied as you cleaned the blade and sheathed it. When you got a a actual look at the kid, he seemed familiar.

"Also thanks for the save. I would have been barbequed if it wasn't for you," he thanked as he put his hand out. "I'm Jet," he introduced. You gasped as your eyes widened.

"Jet," you repeated in disbelief. Jet gave you a questioning look.

"Yes?" You just stood there. As Jet looked at you, something about you struck him as familiar. "Have... Have we met before," he asked as he lowered his hand.

"You don't remember me do you," you asked with a hint of sorrow edging at your voice. "You told me to run and don't look back. You told me that we would see each other again," you said, referring to the time your village was burned down and your parents were killed. His eyes widened as he dropped his weapons.

"Jet," one of his friends asked. "You okay?"

"Y/n," Jet said as he stepped closer to you. Tears slowly started to fill your eyes and you nodded your head. You smiled at him as you saw that he was beginning to remember. Then he suddenly pulled you into his arms, burying his face into your shoulder. "I am sorry! I tried looking for you for so long, but every time I thought I had a lead, I always hit a dead end," Jet explained. You just shook and held onto him tighter.

"Don't be sorry! It's okay. You don't have to explain anything," you replied.

"I am just so glad to have you back Y/n," Jet whispered in your ear. He kissed your cheek before giving you a gentle squeeze. He let go of you and looked at his friends. "You guys, this is my sister, Y/n. Y/n these are my Freedom Fighters."
