Sokka ~ Surprise!

     "Sokka," you called out. "Sokka! Where are you?" Sokka had called you to a hidden spot on the beach. You walked past Toph, Zuko, and Katara but no Sokka. "Hey Katara have you seen your brother," you asked her. 

     "I think he is over there past the set of rocks," she replied as she pointed to the rocky part of the beach. You thanked her and started on your way. You waved to Aang who was in the water splashing around. You and Sokka had been together for a few months and you were an Earthbender. You were Toph's older sister and you had lost your sight in a battle. Even though you couldn't see physically, you could see the same way Toph could. 

     You planted your foot and moved the sand with your other. Everything became visible and you saw Sokka a few meters in front of you. So you continued to walk forward. When you got to where Sokka was you stopped. 

     "Sokka. Where are you? You know it's not a good idea to mess with a blind Earth Girl," you said. Then you felt arms wrap around your waist and a head next to yours. You dug your heel into the sand and you saw Sokka smiling. 

     "I know better then to mess with you. Besides I wouldn't do that," Sokka said in your ear. You smiled at him and giggled. 

     "What did you call me over here for Sokka? You didn't try to build anything out of sand again did you," you asked and you turned your head to him. Your nose brushed his cheek. You pecked his cheek before he answered. 

     "I wanted to do something for you Y/n. Something special. But do you trust me Rocky," he asked you. You smiled at your nickname and nodded your head. 

     "I trust you." Sokka smiled and let go of you. You turned your head forward and Sokka took your hands. He was now in front of you. 

     "Okay. You need to stay completely relaxed Y/n. You need to keep your eyes open for me okay. Ready," he said. You were started to get excited but at the same time scared. You didn't know what he was going to do. Then you felt something wet over your eyes. You remained calm throughout the whole thing. Once the wet blob was gone, you blinked your eyes a few times. Then you saw light. You squinted for a moment until you were able to make out what was in front of you. You could see the large rough grey rocks lining the tan sand. You looked up and saw white fluffy clouds drifting in the blue sky. When you looked back down, you saw a dark skinned man in front of you. He was holding your hands and smiling. His straight brown hair was down and he was in blue and white. He smiled at you.

     "I can see," you muttered as you stepped to Sokka. "Sokka," you asked. The man in front of you nodded. 

     "Hey Rocky," he said as a tear slipped down his face. You put a hand to his cheek and wiped the tear away with your thumb. He pulled you closer to him and he couldn't stop smiling.

     "Why are you crying love?"

     "Because this is the first time you see me." You smiled as tears welled up in your eyes. The reality hit that you are looking at the man you love. You giggled as you pulled Sokka's face to yours and pressed your lips to his.
