You were walking through the woods, walking a trail next to the river when you heard someone shout. You jumped slightly and stopped in your tracks. You didn't know where it was coming from. So hesitantly, you continued walking. As you continued walking, you heard a guy shout after a loud splash.

"Why do you feel the need to mock me," the voice shouted. "I am hungry! I need food!" You chucked to yourself as you kept walking up the trail. Then you came across a Water tribe boy your age. He was angrily throwing a spear at the crystal clear water.

"Excuse me sir," you asked. The boy looked up at you and jumped. He lost his footing and slipped down into the water, shouting. You covered your mouth to stifle a laugh. You hurried over to him, set down your basket, and got into the water. You grabbed his wrist and pulled him up. He was soaked. "I'm sorry sir. I didn't mean to startle you. Are you okay," you asked as you helped him out of the water. You sat him down and took the cloak from your shoulders and gave it to him to warm up.

"It's okay. I thought I was alone out here," he said as he rubbed his head dry. You sat on your knees and just watched him.

"Well are you," you asked. When he pulled the cloak off his head, his hair fell to his jawline. He looked at you and smiled. His smile gave you butterflies and you felt your face heat up.

"Well no. At least not anymore." He looked you up and down. "Where are you from?" You smiled as you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"I would ask the same but I kinda wanna guess."

"Ohh is that right. How about this, if you can guess where I am from, I'll introduce you to someone special. But if you are wrong, you have to get me food...cause I can't catch anything for the life of me," he said as he threw a pebble into the water. You laughed and nodded.

"Okay. But first, tell me your name," you said.

"I'm Sokka and what about you pretty lady who looks like a thief in the night," he said as he looked from your face to your clothes. You giggle.

"I'm Y/n. Now I'm gonna guess. You are from the Southern Water tribe, you are most likely the only man of your tribe and you possibly have a younger sibling," you said. He just stared at you with amazement. You scooted closer to him and reached over him for his spear. "Based on your blank expression, I was right. So I'll still get you food anyway," you said as you looked at him. You were inches from his face. His face flushed before you leaned back and stood. You went to the water's edge and watched as fish swim by. Sokka walked over to you and stood next to you as you sat there watching and waiting.

"How did you guess that right? How could you tell," he asked. You smiled as you threw the spear into the water.

"Because," you said as you looked at him, "you are wearing Water tribe colors, the outfit I've only seen in the south, you clearly can't hunt properly because of the lack of male presence in your life," you explained as you walked into the water. "And I am not trying to be rude by saying that. I know what it's like though," you added. He watched as you walked out of the water with the spear. On the tip, two large fish wiggled before stopping. You handed him the spear and went back to dry land. You grabbed your basket and picked up your cloak. "Well, I'm off. Have fun with your food," you said as you dropped your now dry cloak next to the rest of his gear. As you started up the trail, you heard splashing behind you.

"Wait," Sokka called out to you. "Oh crap," you heard him say before something hit the ground. You turned and Sokka was on the ground; he slipped as he was trying to get back to dry land. You put your hand over your mouth and smiled to yourself. "You forgot your cloak," he said finally after getting up and grabbing your cloak. You shook your head.

"Keep it. It'll come in hand one day," you shouted back before turning around and continuing on your way. Sokka stood there baffled. But, he couldn't help but smile to himself.

Wow. This was probably the best hunting trip I've had all-day, Sokka thought as he smiled down at the cloak.
