You were trudging through the woods with a cloak over your head and a glider on your back. You were one of the last Airbenders and the sister of Aang. Your tattoos were hidden well and you were scouting ahead. The team was asleep and you had woken up from a nightmare. So you were walking ahead as the sun was rising. As you continued walking, you stopped in a ditch and took some time to meditate. The wind blew and it took your hood off your head. The ground trembled under you and the earth shook.

"Look out," someone shouted. You woke up and jumped to your feet. A boulder was heading towards you. You slid one foot back and lunged towards the boulder. You stopped it and it cracked. It crumbled to the ground. It was a bending move you learned while reading through ancient scrolls. You let out a held breath and fell to your hands and knees. You heard footsteps in front of you. "Are you okay miss? I am so sorry! It was a new move and I still haven't perfected it yet," they explained. You looked up and saw a boy with long brown hair and Earth Kingdom green and gold. His eyes widened when he looked at you. Then there was silence between you two

"Don't worry about it," you said. "I was just meditating to stay alert. I guess it works," you said humorously. The boy smiled at you and gave you his hand.

"My name is Haru." You slid your hand into his and he pulled you to your feet. "Do you have a name?" You smiled at him.

"Y/n." You looked at your hands and you still had his hand. His face flushed a soft color before taking his hand back.

"That's a beautiful name. You're an Airbender aren't you," he asked. You crossed your arms over your chest and smirked.

"Maybe I am, or maybe I'm not. I might have just gotten these tattoos for fun and these clothes from a random merchant," you said with a grin. For a moment he thought about what you said before laughing.

"Haha! Nice joke. You wouldn't happen to be the Avatar would you," he asked. Your face flushed and you pulled your hood back over your head.

     "Why would you wanna know?"

"Because you were able to stop that boulder from crushing you."

"How observant of you," you remarked. He grinned at you. "What if I told you I was," you asked. He bowed his head to you.

"Then I would be honored to meet you." You smiled at him. You picked him up by his chin with your finger and you got close to his face. He smiled at you.

"There is no need for that." Before Haru could speak a voice called for you in the distance.

"Hey! Y/n! Where are you?" It was Sokka.

"Sis! Where did you go? If you are playing around this isn't cool! We need to go!" That time it was Aang. You pulled your finger back and put your hands to your side.

"I'm sorry. I have to go." You turned away and were about to leave when Haru grabbed your wrist.

"Wait! Will I ever see you again," he asked. You turned back to him and smiled. You leaned to him and kissed his cheek.

"I hope so," you said. He smiled and brushed his hand over your head, taking the hood off your head. "What are you doing," you chuckled.

"If this is the last time, I want to actually see you," he said. He tucked your hair behind your ear. You flushed a soft color.

"Goodbye Haru," you said as you got your wrist free.

"Till we meet again Y/n." He kissed the top of your hand. You pulled your hood back up again, then you took off for the others. When you got to your brother, Katara, and Sokka, they all jumped at you with a hug.

"I was so worried about you," Sokka said as he shoved everyone out of the way to hug you. He pulled away and looked you dead in the eyes. "Don't you ever do that again!" Then he hugged you again.

"Okay, okay! You're killing me Sokka! Let...me...go," you said. After Sokka let you go, you fell into your brother. Aang caught you and put you back to your feet.

"Where did you go? I woke up and you were gone," Aang asked.

"I had a nightmare so I went for a walk and meditated for a bit," you admitted. Aang pulled you aside and took your hood off your head.

"Are you doing okay? You seem to be having nightmares a lot lately. Should I be worried," he asked. You took his hand.

"No Aang. I am fine. Besides I managed to find a village that we can restock our supplies. And so we can lay low," you replied. Aang nodded. Once things were settled, you and team Avatar went into town, and there you got to see Haru again.
