Today was the day Amelia knew she fucked up.

She fucked up everything.

She was worried.

More than she probably should've been.

But now her best friend had known her secret.

Now her best friend had known she was lesbian.

"Fan-fucking-tastic." Amelia sucked the air through her teeth as she then turned around, kicking her foot against the white-painted brick wall. "I work my ass off so I don't lose someone as important as her and it fails miserably, of course."

She let out a shaky breath as she then pushed her back against the wall, sliding down to the floor.

And, on beat, once she landed onto the floor, her phone went off, the ding most likely being the person who was cursing her out and calling her a weirdo.

The thought made her curl up.

"What if she thinks I'm weird..." She muttered under her breath, and though it wasn't loud enough for anyone to hear, the words rang louder in Amelia's head. Louder, and louder, and louder. "I don't want some stupid thoughts and stupid pin being the reason I lose her..."

"I KNEW I should've never put on that stupid pin!" Amelia, who was beginning to cry, yelled out, swinging the backpack from around her back so it faced her as she then grabbed onto the pin and ripped it off, throwing it as far as she could.

"Why can't I do anything right?!" The words spilled out before Amelia could even catch herself, and as her adrenaline was soon going to be wearing thin, she pulled out of her phone and immediately unlocked it with one of the two fingerprints indented on her phone, being met with-

"You can feel like you are and be a lesbian, okay? In a bad sense, that doesn't change how I view you one bit. Besides, it would be pretty hypocritical since I'm lesbi myself, haha. I know being gay and stuff isn't really accepted yet since it's pretty new to everyone at the moment, but I will never judge you based on that. If you're lesbian, then you're one amazing lesbian, okay?"

And that was it.

That was the thing that broke Amelia, making all her emotions spill out.

The tears flew down from her eyes and onto the floor, leaving Amelia to quietly sob with a smile on her face.

And like all her worries just, washed away in this moment, sure, she had known it was only going to be temporary, but hell, she was living this moment.

She was happy, so who the fuck cared?

"She's gay." The immediate reminder from the other thing she was happy about knocked on Amelia's brain window, the new information making her freeze in place.
