"What I find is pleasing and I'm feeeeling fineee!" Lucía chanted, loudly jamming out with Amelia right by her side.
"Love is so confusing there's no peaaaceee of mind!"
Throughout the whole day, Lucía and Amelia were both exchanging their music tastes to one another, showing off various songs that they liked while they both listened to them.
But this song, Heart of Glass, was one that Amelia particularly liked from Lucía's tastes, and once she heard it, she had it on repeat.
Now, on the way to work at 5:00pm, both Lucía and Amelia were jamming out to Heart of Glass for the third time on this car ride, loudly singing for the whole world to hear.
While Amelia was distracted by the music, Lucía could now see the sight of the parking lot for a small row of food places, disappointing her as she realized that this moment was going to end.
As they began driving into the parking lot, Lucía turned down the music so that it wasn't so loud, immediately catching Amelia off-guard.
"Wait, why'd you-" Amelia began to speak, but she cut herself off when she saw where the two of them were, disappointment clearly evident as she slumped in her seat and crossed her arms with a pout. "Aw, come on! Booooo!"
When seeing that Amelia was just as disappointed, Lucía shook her head and chuckled, rolling her eyes.
"Me too, Ame." Lucía immediately found a parking spot and drove over to it, making sure not to hit any of the other cars. "Me too."
When she put the car into park, she immediately turned her head over to Amelia, seeing her still in the same position, the pout making her laugh a bit.
"It's not the end of the world, stinkyhead." She smirked, poking the side of Amelia's head as a way to get a reaction out of her. "We can always have our jam seshes anytime."
"Yeah, we better." Amelia stared at Lucía and stuck her tongue out, making her laugh as she sat back up, her happy attitude returning. "Blegh. Now it's time for work."
"Ooooo," Lucía laughed, "scaaarrryyyy."
"Yeah, it's going to be scary once I gouge your eyes out and turn them into little soups!" As soon as she said that, she lunged forward and threw her arms over Lucía, playfully clawing at her body.
"Oh noooo!" Lucía dragged out, pretending to act limp in her seat. "My body is going to be turned into a gourmet dish that won't end up well because Amelia can't coooookkkk!"
As soon as Amelia heard that, her eyes widened as she then elbowed Lucía, her eyebrows slightly pressed against each other as she smirked.
"Don't start!" She laughed. "I can cook, you jerk! I've been getting better!"
