"Luz, come on! Come on!"

"Woah! Well hello to you too, Gus!" Luz nervously laughed, getting dragged off to who-knows-where the second she got dropped off at school.

Ever since she woke up, Luz was getting spammed by Gus with messages, all aiming to try and get Luz's attention.

The only problem was that one of his first messages already had Luz's attention, she didn't need a thousand more.

"We have to go and see before we're too late!" Gus laughed, pulling Luz's arm to wherever as Willow immediately started running alongside them.

"Before we're too late for what?!" Luz yelled, turning her head to Willow to surprisingly see her running backwards, quiet breaths being let out as she did so. "Can you please tell me why I was told to skip breakfast, which I was never going to do by the way, and come to school in my pajamas?! Now I'm being dragged off to wherever as- holy wow that is cool. How are you doing that?"

"The cast list for that Romeo & Juliet show came out and Gus wanted to be one of the first people to see it." Willow laughed, showing off her big smile. "And thanks! Running backwards actually helps build balance in your muscles and is actually really good for you! I'm glad you noticed!"

"I don't know how I wouldn't notice, but okay, you do you, boo."

Willow flashed Luz a big toothy smile as she heard Luz's remark, her eyes immediately drifting down to the new change in Luz's hair. The what-used-to-be brown now had a clean drift into purple in the tips, the look being completely surprising but completely Luz.

"I like the hair!"

"Thanks!" Luz smiled, swooshing it around as she laughed. "I got it dyed yesterday!"

"It fits!" Willow laughed, immediately focusing back on where she was running so as to not bump into anything or anyone.

"We're here!" Immediately, Gus' voice cut through their conversation and made an immediate stop, flying Luz forward a bit before thankfully catching herself.

"Woah, hey! Be careful, Gus!"

"Aw man!" He whined, completely ignoring Luz's complaints as he pointed his hand towards the direction they ran in. "We weren't the first ones here!"

Luz groaned as she followed everyone's signal to look ahead, immediately seeing some brunette with books in her hands, looking down at the cast list paper.

Although Gus was upset by the fact that some random person he had never even seen before was now stealing the first peep of the cast list, Luz on the other hand, only had her eyes widened, fixating her gaze on the girl.

"Wait, who is that?" Willow spoke, scrunching up her face as she turned around to a normal position. "Did she audition for the play?"
