If I were to say – the one I'd love forever
It wouldn't be pain – not just whoever
Not the one who hits, like blood on golden rose
But the one who cares, who lives in the shadows
"Where could I find one?" – I wondered and fret
"Look to your left" – they said
I looked both sides – to no avail
Was no person – to meet this trail
"Too imaginary" – they said I was
I agreed and – tried not to fuss
They walked away – the glowing sun
Shined brightly – through the head of none
I once again – thought this day
"Will there be, one to play?"
But, of course, it was untrue
For, I'd never find one like you
