Haven't had thoughts – the blasphemy
I thought I'm deep – oh, agony
I thought I'll think – the sun is shining
I thought I'll say – I'm not declining
I thought I'll make it to the top
I thought I'll try nonstop, nonstop
Oh, how wrong I was
I didn't make it – 'n the end
Such thoughts – I lost prehend
I stood upon – the big wide ledge
Swung my leg – at knife edge
Looked down, street by street – laughed
The thoughts I had – ended at last
