A diamond dove – glides through the cloud
Lands on a city – so wide, so loud
She shone through the house – covered her ears
The big place – it brought out her fears
Mystery, it held – no wonder, indeed
Full of people – of kind and greed
She rose above – left the house
Saw lights – like a sheet of blouse
Sadness and mystery – it held upon
But happiness – it may never be gone
The diamond dove – she wandered through
"The city had grew." – And, just like that she flew

(not so) Fun Fact about this poem:
This is the poem I'll submit for my literature homework where we had 3 options for doing it.
1. to write a persuasive essay on why one of the three poems is a really good poem and persuade/lure someone into reading it OR writing about your experience on reading the poem and what you felt, the meaning it had, etc. Also, the 3 poems were about cities
2. Draw something related to cities or the poem you've chosen and decorate it. It should look extremely beautiful and creative since it's drawing in literature class.
3. Write a poem about a city(or related to a city) from your own experience
So... I chose option 3. Any improvement I should make? 'Cause I want to get the full mark for this since it has 15 marks on my report card.
